Good 24 hours for Denver that likely will be a great 50 hours. Jaillet is about to win the Richter, too.

I'm thinking about going tomorrow

There was an offsides 43 seconds into the third period they wanted to look at.

Got the puck.

He is a senior this year and has had a long journey to playing college hockey. Was similar to Tucker in that nobody really wanted him when he was in his late teens. Went to D3 St. Scholastica for a year, earned a walkon spot for UMD, sat out a year and is now wearing an A. Also does a lot of off ice work with the sled hockey team in Duluth.

If Duluth continues to cycle, Harvard is going to be tired in the third. The Crimson are losing a lot of small physical battles.
-
They just played a video in house featuring college players who turned pro. Of the 5 players they interviewed, three played at UND. So much for the NCAA hating UND.
-
Realistically, only if you can prove they did it intentionally and even then it's not worth it.

Way to start off with a classy first sentence. That will get some people to change their opinions Here's the issue that I have with cutting even more of the education part of the school in order for the 12 international women to play hockey at UND : At some point people need to realize UND is here to educate people and not just provide sporting opportunities. The administration and education side of things has had to cut the same amount as the athletic side of things. There has already been senior-level "reorganization" and there's still a huge budget deficit in the athletic department.

Lots of more talented guys playing in Europe and Russia who could make up a majority of the team.

If anyone thought UND was an outlier in the Big Sky, it would be even more so in the MPSF. The MP conveniently stands for Mountain Pacific, which Eastern North Dakota is close to neither. The travel costs with non-Pac12 schools plus the Dakota schools would be ridiculous. Rosters are around 29 players plus staff. At this point, the MPSF teams only play each other once so only one opportunity to do two games on the road in a weekend. The non conference schedule would need to be doubleheaders on the road because it will be very difficult to get teams to fly into Fargo. There are many cheaper places to go for teams to get doubleheaders. Additionally, if you take a look at most rosters for D1 lacrosse, it is girls from the coasts for the most part. That's a lot of recruiting expenses. While it would be nice to add LAX for both men and women, it would be a huge money drain for both schools.- 2,150 replies

So just to be clear, despite showing no interest in women's lacrosse, it's the obvious add? Yet when they show no interest in equestrian it means they're definitely not adding it?- 2,150 replies

One of those schools doesn't charge for attendance and averages fewer than 400 fans per game during the 5 home games each year. Right now, the Academy shows a big 0 for gate for lacrosse. Denver, a recent national champion averages close to 2,500 people per game, depending on weather. At $15 a pop for their 8-9 home games, that's a very generous $300,000 in attendance for a sport that features one opponent (AF) within 1,000 miles. UND's closest opponent would be 650 miles away and only two teams under 1,000 miles.- 2,150 replies

Agreed. That second time celebrating should be as exciting as the first. If not, take the goal away.

If I was him, I would wait until after the school year. Get your degree and be a hero on campus.

Colorado told Will they aren't going to sign him ever. He will be going elsewhere this summer.

Your biggest problem with this is that you don't have Boeser, Caggiula and NSchmaltz on the same line!

Nope and never won an NCAA game.

Kate Fagan on Outside the Lines said the most under reported story of the week was UND cutting women's hockey. She backed that statement up by saying UND has 8 members currently on the US Women's World Cup Team and that cutting UND W hockey is like cutting UConn's women's basketball... "That's how dominant that program had been."

All that over one word? It is unfair to those affected but did I say life is fair? Was I being a crybaby two sentences later when I said it's probably good for UND?- 2,150 replies

UND was never asked because there B10 never had any interest in adding und. It has been an unsubstantiated rumor from the beginning.- 2,150 replies

I'm giving him a pass on this one. It's his livelihood that is also taking a hit today. His friends just lost their jobs and some people he has really come to know will be leaving in the near future. It's unfair, it's not fun for anyone. I don't understand those who are giddy about this decision. Is it good for UND? It seems like it, but these are still people that are being affected. Brad is a reporter yes, but he's not tweeting from the Herald account. He's expressing his feelings on his personal account and I'm sure he's not having the best day, just like the Hockey and S/D athletes and coaches aren't.- 2,150 replies
