During Sports Center yesterday, they made some reference to the fact that this is the first time in X number of years that the Frozen Four hasn't contained at least one of the "big six" schools (not the actual term they used, just can't remember the details). They didn't name the six schools. I assume they include BC, BU, Michigan, North Dakota, & Minnesota. Anybody know the sixth team included in this? I assume it's either Denver or Wisconsin. If it's Denver, you have to go back to 1970. If it's Wisconsin, you have to go to 1969. Also interesting that there's never been a Frozen Four in history until this year that hasn't included at least one of those 7 teams.

Regarding Quinnipiac, I've been telling my buddies for a few months, don't underestimate the value of having 11 seniors on your roster. No matter which conference you play in, that's a huge factor.

That number is very low. Try $12K-$15K.

Not sure I'd agree with this. He averaged 30 points his last 2 seasons as a second line player. I don't think you can expect a whole lot more than that from a second liner.

I agree with Wodon's projections on CHN, except I see them keeping UND/Denver in the 8/9 match-up in Providence (as opposed to swapping Denver with Niagara). The rules allow them to keep a first-round conference match-up if the conference has 5 teams in the tournament, and this year we have 6.
