Yes, Quinn Fylling did go back for a year of juniors before returning. He played during the 2000-2001 season and from 2002-2005. Are you talking left mid-season to go back to juniors? If not, here are a couple who I believe left after the season. If so, I don't recall any off the top of my head. -Michael Forney played in the USHL during the 2005-2006 season and played for the Sioux from 2006-2008. He then went back to the USHL and didn't return. -Hunter Bishop played in the BCHL before joining the Sioux for the 2006-2007 season. He then went back to the BCHL and ultimately transferred to Ohio State University.

Oops! Totally read that wrong. Anthony Grieco is the last mid-season departure I remember as well.

If I remember correctly, David Toews and Corey Fienhage left last summer due to lack of playing time and development.

Judging from this photo album, Amsoil Arena looks very nice! I love the lobby. While The Ralph is classic elegance, Amsoil Arena is quite contemporary. I like the sleek, modern architecture and track lighting. The murals on the walls are reminicent of The Ralph. However, I wonder why they chose to only display them at ice level (or perhaps there are some on the main concourse, but not shown in these photos). One of my favorite things about The Ralph is that the history and tradition of Fighting Sioux hockey is on full display throughout the arena. I wish I could see it in person. Maybe next year.

The Sioux Shop at The Ralph can have a name and number sewn onto a jersey for you. However, it's not done in house. They send it off somewhere. If I remember correctly, I was quoted $50-$60 including shipping.

Really sparse crowd tonight. Lower level is spotty and most sections in the upper level are half full or less.

Fun game! It was a real treat to see the guys wearing the black jerseys at home. According to Schlossman they are now 22-1-2 in the black jerseys since the 2006-2007 season. Game highlights on FightingSioux.com

Sioux rockin' the black jerseys at home. Nice! Let's hope they brink us as much luck at home as they do on the road. The only time I ever remember them wearing black at home was the series after Ralph Engelstad died. Oddly enough, I believe it was against SCSU.
