  1. During the last INCH podcast the hosts felt that they needed to remind Sioux fans to keep it classy and told them not to boo if Frattin didn't win. Other anti-Sioux fans thought we would boo as well.
  2. Congratulations to Miele. Frattin is still the best in my opinion though. And for the record, Sioux fans at the ceremony gave Miele a standing ovation. No boos at all.
  3. Sitting at the X during the tail end of the Hockey Humanitarian ceremony when the Sioux players arrived for the Hobey announcement. As they filed down to their seats the crowd gave them a standing ovation. It was a nice moment.
  4. Yes, the entire team stayed in St. Paul to support Frattin at the Hobey ceremony. Great to see that kind of support for their teammate - Fighting Sioux hockey family.
  5. Grabbing some lunch at Burger Moe's in St. Paul. Saw Barry Melrose on the street outside. There are plenty of Sioux fans walking around already.
  6. Our group is leaving tonight after work. Can't wait to get to St. Paul!
  7. According to REA on Twitter, ESPN will show live crowd shots from the viewing party at The Ralph. If you live in the GF area and can't make it to St. Paul, head to The Ralph!
  8. I normally wear my black jersey, but when I saw everyone talking about wanting to turn the 'X' green I decided to go out and buy a green jersey. I now have the new Reebok jersey in all three colors and I'm taking all three with me to St. Paul.
  9. Anyone want to be on TV? LOL! Via WDAZ News on Facebook
  10. Nice article from the Winnipeg Free Press highlighting the Canadian connections on the Sioux team UND aims to take its best shot
  11. You can add another party to the list - Los Angeles, CA Via Twitter
  12. I guess fact checking isn't his strong point. He also said that Evan Trupp pulled off his stick-handling move in the Final Five title game as opposed to the semi-final against CC. Oh well. At least college hockey is getting a little exposure to a mostly pro-hockey crowd.
  13. Frattin Q&A on Puck Daddy Blog
  14. Maybe make a new thread with your apology to Sioux fans, Kristo, etc. and have one of the mods lock it. That way it's easy for everyone to see and you won't have to worry about any further backlash.
  15. Frozen Four satelite viewing parties http://www.undalumni.org/Page.aspx?pid=1755
  16. Via Brad's Blog: Official UND Frozen Four Pre-Game Party Saint Paul River Centre 175 West Kellogg Boulevard, STE 501 Exhibit Hall A 2:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Free admission Hot dogs and beverages will be available for purchase. (If UND advances to the Frozen Four championships, Sioux fans are invited back to the River Centre at 4 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 9.)
  17. I understand that Sioux fans are upset about the lack of Frozen Four tickets available, but it's not the Athletic Department's fault. They can only distribute what they're given. Also, I have seen several Sioux fans purchasing tickets on USCHO over the last few months. I have no doubt that there will be a large contingent of Sioux fans at the 'X'.
  18. I saw this on Twitter the other day: MATT FRATTIN: Teach me how to Hobey
  19. As expected, Frattin is a Hobey Hat Trick finalist, along with Cam Atkinson (BC) and Andy Miele (Miami) http://www.hobeybakeraward.com/news_article/show/83914?referrer_id=191323-news
  20. I will be there with three friends. We have Club seats.
  21. Another Oshie article Time For Blues to Step in? Whatever it is, hopefully Oshie is able to work through it and get back on track professionally.
  22. Via Twitter WOW! I read yesterday that each school receives 600 tickets. Also, The Ralph will be hosting a Frozen Four viewing party. Nearly 2,000 fans showed up at the Midwest Regional viewing party. If you don't find tickets and are in the GF area, I would suggest going to The Ralph to watch. It was a great time. http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/198377/group/homepage/
  23. The Frozen Four is officially sold out. Best of luck to those still looking for tickets! Articles: Sioux Fans Scramble for Frozen Four tickets http://www.grandforksherald.com/event/article/id/198297 Frozen Four: Officially, it's a sell out http://www.startribune.com/sports/gophers/blogs/118810914.html
  24. Considering the Sioux are the highest remaining seed, they are the 'home' team in their game(s). That means they will wear white jerseys and should attack the same end the Wild attack twice (section 110). Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
