The Princeton offense ws designed for 2 reasons: 1) To try to help cover up the lack of athleticism and talent of a team 2) while trying to shorten the possesions of the other team in essence trying to keep the game close with the deliberate style of play. This team is really talent poor for D1 and subsequently the system being run is trying to compensate for that.

I believe this is UND's 3rd straight WCHA opponent that has had a bye week before playing us. Coincidence? I'm not saying...I'm just saying!

Agree, but what are our options with Genoway out?? Kristo is a big-time talent but is a Fr. who at this point is in a little too deep playing the point on the PP or winging the 1st line. I thought he looked great on Sat. playing on the 4th line. He is a huge mismatch against team's lower lines. Cichy, Knight and Kristo could be a huge advantage for us if we can find someone to wing the last sopt on the 1st line. Malone clicked with VV and Gregoire late last year...maybe give him a shot. Hextall doesn't cut it there either.

Having had that hit happen right in front of us and seeing Genoway trying to come to his senses, my initial reaction was he probably has a concussion?? Could be wrong. Wouldn't be suprised to see Davidson in the line-up tonight to maybe set a physical tone and settle up on last night's antics.

Unless Lee stands on this head, UND rolls as usual on a Friday at the Ralph...5-2. VVx2, Marto, Malone and Kristo.

Well there you have it! Nice research. I actually would thought it would have been at least UND +10. My cousins, who live in Vegas, must have thrown some big money down on UND to get the spread to drop to 8 1/2!

The only people(s) I've met that do things on their own "time" more so than NAs are Hawaiians! This issue in SR will not get resolved by Nov. 30.

I do know if this game had a betting line, UND would be close to a double digit home 'dog. And what happens in Vegas...stays in Vegas , but it is tough to bet against any home 'dog giving 10 or more. With that being said, I still think it will be difficult for UND to keep this one close.

Why not push it back until the end of the year?? Lets say meeting on Nov. 10 goes well and they schedule a tribal vote, you think that is going to get done by Nov. 30th? Unlikely. The SBoHE continues to make this process more complicated than it needs to be. Give SR some time, stay out of their way and let the chips fall where they may with them. But continually moving the deadline makes the SBoHE look more incompentent than they already are!

Cal Poly is one of the few teams left in D1 FB that runs the true triple option on offense. Past UND defenses have had success against option teams, but... If it's a low scoring game, UND has a chance...like in a 17-14 type game. If UND can't stop the run and gets behind early, Poly will roll...31-10 type game.
