Really? Is that what you saw from Omaha? It was obvious sitting right across from GG what the interpretation was, not only by his actions but his expressions. If WCHA officials want to be publically stripped of respect and don't want to control any situation properly, you'll continue to get the antics that took place both nights. But don't be an enabler for this ass!

Nickname/Logo Affecting Conference Affiliation

Wow, what an interesting concept...NDSU without a halo! -
You forgot to mention the 2 hands around the throat gesture he gave Anderson a couple of times.
-
Totally agree. Ran into Kozek in between periods as he was signing a young girl's jersey. Heard him say he could have gone last night but is not 100%.
-
I have said many times before but there is nothing on consistantly inconsistant than the officiating in the WCHA. And on top of that there is no greater equalizer for league parity than WCHA officiating. Anderson and crew were brutal Friday and last night was a total embarrassment. The blatant and dangerous stickwork by DU on Friday that wasn't handled properly was pathetic. So then Sat. both teams are slashing, hooking, ect...knowing little will be called. Then the GG fiasco! Anderson and Campion need to come and see me for an exam to see if they actually have testicles. Talk about being undressed as a man! You get respect as an official by not doing what those 2 did with GG and his antics. PS: UND should be happy to escape with a point last night. DU was rolling. Overall another great weekend of hockey at the REA.

Thought Blood was our weakest D-man last night, but agree it's tough to be solid when you are out for 3 weeks. Jones will bring that little extra grit tonight.
-
Agree. There was the blatant spear to Vandy then the 3, 4, 5 cross checks to boot. But when has Anderson ever really nailed the instigator? I'm truly suprised thing didn't get completely out of hand.
-
Now you're talking. I'll tell my bookie you're in!
-
So what you are saying is you're going out on a limb here? I'd put down $100 on 50% odds tonight to double my money. I'd say we are at least a slight favorite...51%? If DU's top line does score 3 goals tonight, this one could be a rout as well. Their other lines were not very skilled. And I thought their PP for the most part was dreadful. I really like our chances this evening.
-
DU gave us the center ice in the 1st period and the rout was on, then we kind of took center ice as we wanted to thereafter. DU's top end skill isn't good enough vs. our 4 line depth to play that way again tonight.

My wife asked me this week how many series were left at the REA? She said "Well, I suppose I should catch a game with you." (With the same vigor as one would say "I suppose I should try catch malaria soon?") Should be fun as she is also a big fan of gratuitous violence. Leave the women and children at home?! Hardly, just the kids tonight. Don't think she knows what kind of game it is going to be!
-
I say Jones plays tonight and if DU goes after Hextall...enter Malone! He was just waiting for someone to start something at the end of the 2nd as the teams left the ice. Was really suprised he wasn't in the mix in the 3rd. I think he works some sorry ass Pio tonight if it come to that. Blackout Jones is just the insurance policy tonight!
-
I shouldn't laugh, I lived in Williston for 2 1/2 years!
-
What I want to see tonight is someone open up Vossberg's melon again like Radke did last year. Some people never learn! When you totally get worked like he did last year and you come back to our barn with that cheap stuff on Hextall with 9+ left in the 3rd, someone needs to do the Gallagher/watermelon bit on him tonight! As for JP Test-icle, Vandy would have worked him too had that scrum continued. People in college hockey can say UND goons it up, but last night DU was one of the most uncomposed teams I've seen in years. I was hoping to hang a 10 spot on them after their crap mid-way thru the 3rd. If UND gets a decent lead again tonight, which I think they will, look for DU to try to really go after Hextall. Always nice to go the Ralph and see a nice beatdown!! I hope to see another one tonight.

You can typically find/see them in between periods on the concourse between Sec. 110 and the student sections.
-
You mean the car sound system or the Davy Crockettt look-alike? 4-3 Sioux. Martens with the game winner mid-way thru the 3rd.

1000 employees in Fargo, 5.5% cut in work force worldwide...you do the math.
-
If Hak let's the boys play up and down hockey like he did vs. Minny, I like our chances. If we go back to the dump and cycle...not so much! I say we get 3 of 4 points at a minimum.
-
Buddy of mine who is up the ladder at Microsoft here in Fargo said there will be cuts. He speculated on a number, but said nothing official yet. Considering Fargo is the largest US campus outside of Redmond, and with the expansion building going on right now in Fargo, it will be interesting to see how many jobs are cut from the Fargo campus.

Nice! And at the very least it's kid friendly!
-
We don't need you, but we just want to have that warm, fuzzy feeling again soon of kicking your ass! There's your answer.
-
Even in a poor economy, people have priorities!!
-
Read that MTU is averaging 1.38 goals a game on the year! Losing a 2 goal lead Friday really bites after seeing that stat. Hope that tie on Friday and the lost WCHA point doesn't come back to bite us in the Pairwise or WCHA down the road.
-
I'm sure the Pios will take a couple runs at him, but I, too, expect Gregoire to have a big weekend. Anyone have any more word on Kozek and his situation? Is he out this weekend as well?
-
Pios have had only 7 road games to date? That's pathetic!
