  1. Penalty on Hexy...TH didn't like the call?!?!
  2. Goal was on UND PP.
  3. Matching minors...4x4
  4. Good PK by UND.
  5. Cross checking on Rowney.
  6. Sounds like SCSU carrying play early...
  7. Is Cichy hurt and it hasn't been disclosed? Kid has way too much talent IMO to have not seen the ice in a month+.
  8. Lee back in net, the boys back in black...this one is going get ugly quick. Limit our penalties and score on the PP. I'm calling a 5-2 UND win with Clowns getting one late in the 3rd. Expect to see Mario's line play much better and Lee won't play 2 very good games back to back. Saw Burrell at D for SCSU making just his 3 appearance of the year I believe. I'll set the over/under on him getting walked for a goal at 1.5 goals for the game.

    Flood 2011

That's a huge issue. Technology has helped the local farmers, but improved drainage IMO is the #2 reason behind the current wet cycle that raises the Red past major flood stage yearly as of late.

    Flood 2011

In Fargo, we have had minimal snow fall, relatively speaking, and a past week of fairly significant thawing/warm weather since the first NWC river projections and yet the NWC jacks UP it's predicted forecast yesterday?? That tells me one of 2 things...someone @ the NWC really likes their power of speculation or this is really little more than a "guesstimate" this far out. I'll be optimistic and be hopeful for continued dry and temperate weather until the next NWC forecast.
  11. You nailed it...really couldn't have lined up any better for UND down the stretch. If UND doesn't win the Cup...FIRE HAK!
  12. On a side note....actually in Bismarck. Read Tribune sport's page with a big picture of Solen HS boy's basketball player on it. Solen's nickname is the Sioux and "SIOUX" was on front of the Solen HS player's jersey. Also Solen is in Sioux County. But it's a predominantly Native American school, town and county... Just thought that was interesting to see the other side of the equation. Carry on...
  13. Totally agree BC shouldn't be able to continually stroll out of their own beds in PJs and slippers to get to the regional rink. I know "integrity" of the brackets is important and that this bracket is hypothetical, but these "western" regionals are an attendance nightmare. If the West region were to happen as is 80% of the Scottrade Arena will be bare. Green Bay will have decent attendance and the 2 eastern regional will be ok. St. Louis IMO needs UND there...that is the only team that will put butts in the seats for sure. Green Bay would be ok with UMD. My crew will probably travel to either St. Louis or GB if UND is sent to either site.
  14. Moys' Bracketology is up on USCHO.com. Very odd brackets this week. Has UND in Green Bay playing Renssilaer with Michigan vs. UNO. WI and UMD are in Manchester with BC and Denver is in St. Louis. From an attendence perspective, this is about as poor of brackets imaginable. WI not in Green Bay? Who is going to go watch in St. Louis? I heard from a credible source close to the UND hockey program last week that he would totally shocked if UND was NOT sent to St. Louis. UND would be the biggest draw there period and attendance is going to be poor even with UND there. Have WI not play in Green Bay makes no sense. Ship Denver anywhere...their 100 fans would have to fly regardless. First time in a while I've seen Moy's brackets and just scratched my head.
  15. Least he's honest...
  16. You actually and purposely scheduled classes on Friday???
  17. Your 1st point shouldn't be an expectation of your #1 goalie, your 2nd point should be though.
  18. Totally with you. There were times last year where I almost felt UND was down 1-0 before the pucked dropped because BE seemed to always give up a soft one. With that said, I'd like to see BE get some ice time, but with the race for Cup on and Dell in total control game in and game out, I don't see that happening.
  19. Eidsness in 2+ years as the guy was never as solid and consistant as Dell has been this year. Dell's positioning is better, he controls rebounds better and most of all IMO his concentration is better... he doesn't give up a softy nearly as often as BE did.
  20. I tend to agree but it would be nice to see that happen though.
  21. I know we have had Oshie and Toews, but I agree with comparing his level of play all the way back to Panzer. If Frattin gets another 8-10 goals, we might be talking about one of the all-time great seasons by a UND forward.
  22. Agree on the split....the Clowns have too much talent to be playing as bad as they have so far this year. They could be hitting their stride alittle bit after taking 3 points from UMD. On the Genoway comment, you are right on IMO using the term "balanced". Every guy on the ice this weekend looked like they "knew" what was happening and what was going to happen with the puck. Why??? Because no one was overhandling or overplaying the puck. Perfect example was Friday, UND got one rush after another because our D-man played it simple. With the sick talent of these forwards, all a D-man needs to do is get one of them the puck on the tape coming up ice out of the D zone then grab some popcorn and watch for a hightlight reel moment. Each D-man this weekend took care of his defensive responsibility first before trying to do anything else...that's how you give up only 2 goals and 40 total SOG for the weekend.
  23. Also was watching ESPN Sportscenter a couple days ago. They were breaking the news of Jerry Soan, Utah Jazz coach, stepping down. Video footage of Sloan game coaching had a guy with a UND T-shirt right behind him...looked like this UND guy was front row behind players bench.
  24. Blues play Thurs. night vs. Oilers (I believe). West regional Fri./ Sat.
  25. Agree with the reasoning you proposed.
