Like someone stated before on this site...mediocrity will drag this program under. And Muss has IMO lead us to believe that is to be tolerated. "Moral victories", "we battled against a great team"... I would rather see us get throttled game and game out and know that change in some form would be coming. Right now this program is treading water...not drowning but not swimming either. Another year of this and what little FB fan base there is will dwindle further. The crowd today for homecoming was pathetic.

Next weeks game vs. Griz was one I had circled on calendar when schedule came out. Will be there but not all that jacked about it now. At least it should be an entertaining game...both defenses really suck.

This program should never ever lose a home game when we score 35 or more points. today was just an embarrassment. Muss needs to make changes to his coaching staff or he needs to be let go.

Choppy game last night...no flow. You could tell UND was in exhibition mode. Might as well drop puck w just Knight in a faceoff circle. Anyone across from him has no chance. He's best I've ever seen at UND. It's sick! Jim is solid out there but if everyone is healthy he'll have tough time seeing the ice. After watching 2 games Grothberg reminds me of a young BE w his play and style. Take that as you want. Saunders is our guy for now. O'Donnell has that "it" quality. Think he'll have a big yr. Really like the General's line w St Claire Rodwell. Forbort our best Dman thru 2 exhibition game. Finally, Rocco....WOW! Special!!!

Forgot how smooth Gleason is on blue line. Gaarder will be a regular in the lineup. Really like what he brings.

At game and safe to say Mac hasn't missed a beat from last year...3 minors in 1st 2 periods. He'll easily lead WCHA in PIM.

Back to the game...attendance will be 10000+. It's homecoming and the crowd is usually decent. As for the game, who knows what to say. My gut says UND gets run over on the ground by NAU like the 5'6" fat guy trying to avoid the bulls at Pamplona for the 1st time.

From the NAU posters above, it sounds like NAU runs your basic old NCC power I formation, fullback lead, we are going to run 'til you stop it offense. I would hope UND would be able to scheme this and not get gashed for 250+ on the ground.

This...^^^^^^^ Whiskey Joe gave GT a very long leash. From comments and pressers sounds like Deano might be getting tired of GT's antics to some extent.

From a betting standpoint, generally the rule is to take the points and lay money on a home 'dog, but the way UND has played the last 2 weeks that would be tough to do. On a side note, based on this line UNA would be roughly an 8 point favorite if this game was at UNA this Saturday.

By the way we could easily lose the next 3 to make it 5 in a row. Lots of possible scenarios w the games remaining. The point is something needs to change ASAP on the D side of the ball.

UND has shown no ability to stop the run or generate a consistent running game so far this season. You do the math on this one... And the Griz come to the Al the following week...they might only have to throw the ball 8 times if the D effort isn't any better vs. UNA. From what I saw the Griz do to the Yotes in week 1, UND is in big big trouble.

Agree...it's a meat grinder, but this is what we signed up for when we entered the BS. What we didn't sign up for was going 1-4 in that stretch w 2 a## kickings. Just hoping that doesn't happen!!
