The goal before the end of 2nd and the shorty last night killed us. We stay away from that crap tonight we got a shot.

I think Zane will play ok. He needs to see pucks early and stop them to settle in.

We are talking line combos but if our 6 Dman don't play markedly better tonight, Toews and Oshie could skate w Rocco and it wouldn't matter.

I hear you...makes zero sense to me. If Hak is going to play Colton, he needs to be playing w Rocco and Drake.

Rowney was not good in his 4 game winger experiment. If it's not Rocco then Parks. Mark and Mitch centered by Rowney. The elephant in the room continues to be Rocco. Tonight, as last pm, he is/will be a top 5-6 forward talent wise overall that will be on the ice.

Problem with Mitch is it basically let's UM strictly focus on Kristo. They aren't going to let Kristo beat em and they know Mitch can't.

Here's what I know from my couch. Mitch isn't top line skill. Rocco is wasting away where he is at. Pattyn on his best nights is a 4th line grinder. I'm ok w Zane. Like Colton playing but he and Pattyn should be flip flopped. No Panz is a shock. Only way UND wins IMO is a 3-2 or 2-1 game with lineup as is...if I'm betting on that I don't like my odds.

One of the biggest isssues last night was UND's complete inability to establish any forecheck. Dump the puck and UND gets to the puck but doesn't get support from the other forwards or dump puck and don't have speed to beat UM Dman to puck 1st. Pattyn and Gaarder weren't fast enough to get to the puck 1st and then UM brought it right out of our offensive zone. Our 4 best centerman are Knight, Rowney, Easy Mac and Rocco...only 2 played center. As much as the RPM line clicked last year, I think with this team Mark Mac is a center specifically if Rocco doesn't play on top line. Parks and Rowney can play with most any one. Here is what I would like to see tonight: Kristo Knight Rocco Parks Rowney St. Clair Mitch Mark Drake Gaarder Pattyn Rodwell This gets Mark at center with two potential scoring wings. Colton adds some speed to that line and he can create offensively. And most importantly Rocco plays with guys of his skill. I just remember the Saturday UAA game late 3rd and OT when those 3 were together...complete mismatch. Granted it was UAA, but without queestion it was the most potent line combo for this team to date. Defensively...what can you say? Just horrendous! Berry IMO has made no positive impact. Simpson and Mac have been decent most of the year. Forbort has really struggled since the break and the other 3 have almost become liabilities. Clark hasn't been the before the break Clark, but I don't think Zane can make his 2nd? (or 3rd) road start vs. this team in that setting. Mid January and IMO way to many questions and uncertainties for this team to have at this point. But as Schloss has referenced many times, 2nd half surge 8 years running with Hak. Will see this season...

We go thru this paycheck thing with the SU inbreeds. Enough...

No doubt that marginal call changed the game for UND from a physicality standpoint. Problem is their hockey skills stunk tonight as well.

The Gophs teed off on Kristo all night. They knew Mitch wasn't gong contribute much. Rocco would free up space for Kristo and Knight.

Think you see Panz at D. Colton at forward. Zane in net. Mid January and this team doesn't have one set forward line.

From bad to worst...Simpson, Mac, Gleason, Mattson, Forbort...Schmaltz.

Right now Rocco is a wasted talent IMO. He needs to center a line with Drake and Colton. Play wing w Easy Mac and Drake or, drum roll, play on top line. Where he is and has been isn't working.

Berry was brought in for a reason... Still waiting...

Can't play worse tomorrow...I hope. 20 guys better take a look in the mirror. That was a beatdown.
