Bright side...Zane stopped 37 and 35 SOG this weekend. Bad new...we gave 40 and 37 SOG this weekend. Zane better be in net next Friday. Berry better tighten up our D this week in practice.

Drake IMO hasn't been playing poor enough to get benched. He was put in a tough spot last night. The fact that Danny and Corbin didn't produce wasn't on Drake. It was due to the fact Rocco wasn't on that line. OD was given a shot on the top line early this season, same with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th lines. How many chance does he get? I don't get this switch. If Hak feels a message needed to be sent this late in the season to Drake that doesn't bode well for him, but then give Chyzyk a shot. Prior to the Christmas Chyzyk was quite productive.

This...^^^^^^^^! It's crazy how this happens way too often...twice again last night. Rowney and Easy Mac seem to be heating up at the right time, but this team will go absolutely nowhere if Danny and Corbin are kept quiet. IMO Rocco has to be on that top line. He creates time and space for those other two which they haven't been able to get with anyone else on that line. Rowny's goal was a direct result of Rocco's play to Simpson, but all things being equal Danny and Corbin will put more points up with Rocco than Carter and Michael playing with Rocco. Simply math...the more goals the better and Rocco gives UND that possibility on the top line. You make 37 saves, you better be playing in net the next night...period. As to the 2 points above, I think too many coaches try to out think the room a lot of times. Hope Hak doesn't. I thought the 3rd and 4th line were very good last night. Connor is just flat out a hockey player and Colton is becoming a very solid contributor. Watched the last period of the UM/BSU...tough to watch BSU puke it away. That was their shot to get a game this weekend.

IMO the reason Danny and Corbin have been on fire since Rocco joined the line is because he frees up time and space for those 2.

How was that "spread out the scoring" working before Rocco was moved to top line???

And even though Zane didn't give up a softie, as Wilbur noted BSU scored twice on basically 4-5 really good chances in 65 minutes. That's tough to watch ...

Getting to that time of year though when multiple missed opportunities per game to bury the puck will cost you dearly. Paging Brock Nelson...

Rocco buries one of a couple golden chances very early and it's a blowout IMO. Games like this happen. To tie BSU stinks as they a very talent poor.
