Stopped by on way home after the hockey game last night. Got a dozen to go, a small double double and hot chocolate for my girls. Was busy...service was good. Order correct. Donuts were fresh for that time of night. The Canadian maple was awesome. Guy working till was definitely Canadian...no one from the states talks like that. Good first impression. Side note...ate at Wild Hog before game for 1st time. Service was poor but food was excellent.

They went into a complete defensive shell and prevent mode Friday...last night was completely different when they got the lead.

Kudos to NDH for getting the hats to me from Mafia. I'm sure several interstate federal laws were broken smuggling these babies from WI to GF. Was able to meet Siouxman who grabbed southpaw's hat for a great stocking stuffer.... oops did I let that slip. Gonna hook up w letsSIOUXum today so he can get his lids as well. Must say Mafia is a genius for thinking of these hats and getting the 2 orders together. I got a pink one this order after I saw how good he looked in his. My daughter and him are friends on Instagram!!

I guess when I'm watching NDSU on it's way to another semifinal game and see how far this FB program has sunk to and the fact other than hockey it's a huge revenue (potential) generator for the AD and now in the eyes of way too many this process is just another ring added to the circus known as UND FB and... You need me to continue? And BTW not every position at UND carries the same weight. Right or wrong the FB coach is a big deal.

Faison is the AD of a D1 university...the buck stops with him period. As to the worldwide hiring procees of big companies, "similar" is a big big stretch IMO. My middle brother, a UND undergraduate, is a CFO of one of the bigger nonprofits in the nation and has worked for a 500 and having visited w him these companies have policies but they get their "guy" in a timely fashion regardless of process/policy. The "real" world doesn't operate like a government "agency" like UND.

BTW...my "source" said "zero" chance new FB coach hired by years end. Said not a bigger cluster **** at UND than the HR dept...and payroll. Absolutely ridiculous...

If that is the case this "process" is a disaster. Faison is the frickin' AD...he trumps the wizards in the HR dept. On face value he should be able to recognize Pflu is 1 of the top 3 candidates. Total joke IMO.

On Pflu it that's the case I don't feel Faison did his due diligence... he just took the easy way out. No way Pflu was not a top 9 guy especially with the f-d up "points" system they are using! No way Bubba is a better candidate than Pflu...

Agree w Siouxman and Wilbur's post game thoughts and I'll add a couple... Thompson is the real deal...get him some weight and a couple years older and wow! His passing out of D zone best of any Dmen. Drake starting to play more aggressively. No doubt his fall awhile back caused more cautious play. Tambo and Murphy either have to do something...anything productive or they have to sit. Big if...but if Chyzyk can play again and you put him on a wing w Panz and Colton you will have 2 lines no team will want to play against. Parks played his best game of the season. Know this has been mentioned but Luke's goal was right in front of us. Vintage Duncan. He had maybe a 6-8" window to snipe that one.
