My moniker isn't CMSioux so no... I would have no problem having a first year coach dealing with this train wreck left by Muss getting a minimum of 5 wins, playing games that are competitive and having a disciplined team on the field.

In the short term...yes. But winning is still paramount to increase ticket sales.

Here is my take on Bollinger...is he HC material on a FCS level as of this minute...meh? Will he be in 2 years...no doubt. Do I think at this point in time he can do a better job with this program than Muss did over 6 years...absolutely. I think his upside is huge and all thing considered and what has transpired over the last 6 years I think he could definately assemble a staff to turn this program around. Just apples to apples he alone would be a huge upgrade over Muss.

What's the deal with OD? Rodwell is out for just poor/dumb play from last Saturday. Would think they would Mattson up to wing...good hands and offensively skilled.

Doesn't even seem like Vikings/Packers week at our house...flag still waving off the front of the house but my kids won't even wear their #52 jerseys to school as they know the Packers right now are on par with the Vikings. My 8 year old daughter said if they lose to this weekend it will be "embarrassing"...to which I responded under my breath one team is just going suck worse than the other enough and lose. Question...based on the criteria/requirements set forth by Faison in the job posting what is the number of candidates he truly has on his short list? My guess is 2...possibly 3.

If I had a guess after listening to and reading Faison's comments after he released Muss, he probably has a short list of one...and possibly 1A, of which he probably has an answer already...just needs to pull the trigger as soon as the logistics of the job posting allow.

With all the shake up within the FB program there is still a big hockey series this weekend...at a minimum this team needs a split. Any word if OD is able to play or if Mark Mac sits?
