He had his day in court and now that whole scenario is history...not sure how you posting this is relevant other than to try to deflect from what is truly "criminal" which is the play of UND's FB team and it's current state of affairs!

My 13 year old daughter was at the game today w a soccer teammate. She said UND played well but made some costly miscues in a 3-1 loss.

You seem to have a very good FB IQ and understanding of the game but with all due respect 2 weeks or 2 months isn't going to help this team beat MSU. At the end of the day, this team is not very good. In fact its a bad FB team that is poorly coached. You can spin it as to how they might make progress as the year goes along but Muss will still be the coach and a loss by 38 or 21 or 7 is still a loss...and there will be a few more of them before the year is over. No more excuses or what their potential might be...the product on the field is awful and it will still be at end of the year.

3rd and goal and you hand it to AP from 4+ yards out? Horrible call. They needed a TD to seal the deal. Ponder sucks but a pass play was the call. A FG left the door open which Chicago gladly walked thru and stole a "W".

Per Fargo Forum today..."We have the potential to be a pretty good FB team." No you don't Muss...unless you play Valpo 7 more times. This team is horrific defensively, can't run the ball a lick and is completely undisciplined. Agree with your post above...he candy coats everything.

A SU buddy and season ticket holder came w me too. He couldn't believe how inept our D was. He got no argument from me.

Agree. A dead ball personal foul penalty is deemed a positive now in this program. Pathetic is spot on.

What are the options?? IMO Bartels isn't a better one. Joe was not good last night but he was still better than any O lineman or anybody on the opposite side of the ball.

That's because we have heard for years now that Muss is a "player's coach"...how's that working out!

I missed the SF debacle but without question last night was the first time at the Alerus I was truly embarrassed for this program after sitting thru a game. Sad... We take a tota a** kicking and have next Saturday to reflect on it while we all watch Gameday at the AC and realize exactly how far this FB program is from being relevant in any way shape or form.

Joe isn't the issue on this team...far from it. IMO Muss rides him thru the next 2 games. If a change is warrented do it for EWU...have zero chance to win that one anyways.

Really 9-9. Their punt came on their last meaningless series. Couple that with fact of UND not getting a TO... This is a 5-6 or 6-5 season...again. Probably just enough for Muss to stick another year and then for me to say enough as a season ticket holder. Last night was absolutely pathetic FB. Muss used "frustrated" in his post game presser...I'm far beyond that!!!

Let me simply quantify this...the FB I witnessed live tonight was garbage. Plain and simple. Keep the "progress" BS out of any discussion.

7 minutes left in 3rd down 40-10 and Muss is yucking it up and laughing with an official. Total clown!! His exit can't come soon enough!

UND needs to go from a 4 WR spread set to start the game IMO. The Griz don't have cover guys for the 4 WRs UND could put out there. Spread them out, chuck it around, use Joe's athleticism and then hit them on occasion with a run...with a bigger back that Miller that could get you 3-4 yards a pop.
