Auburn plays Bama Saturday in SEC title and FBS Natty implications and this after Auburn went winless in the SEC last year. A different/new coach can make a huge difference...immediately in some instances.
Miss a few days being out in the Badlands along the Little Missouri hunting with little smart phone coverage and come back to read and get caught up on this thread...wow!
No argument here...their D is marginal at best. Can't stop the run or create TOs and under McCarthy they have to be in the bottom 3rd of the league in getting off the field on 3rd down. Rodgers does give them more room for error though as he does the rest of the offense.
But remember GB put up similar yardage #s yesterday...with Flynn. ARog plays yesterday and that is a 17+ point GB win as Ponder would have had to throw it more. Just difficult to watch this season unfold as the schedule was set up for GB to make a big run starting with that Bear's game.
At least 2 scores...cause the MSU Bears, who you said will beat UND by 3 TDs NEXT year, beat the Jacks by 14 this year and UND only lost to the Jacks by 7 this year and the Vikes and Packers tied yesterday.
I get it now...
I was out west in the Badlands hunting this weekend so I didn't see either game but 90+ SOG and 4 goals in 2 games and this is a week after Maine hung a TD and extra point on BU? Hot goalie(s) no doubt...
And just watched the OD "slash"...
I would like to think even as banged up as this squad is they could get one win on the road vs. this BU team.
Paging AZSIOUX...get the game thread rolling!
It comes down to a one and done scenario due to the autobid...Denver will get better as will SDSU. I'll take the field in the Summit tournament. Saul isn't the greatest BB mind out there and there is no Woodson.
Not sure they didn't play each other but based on common opponent SDSU possibly...and this year has nothing to do with next year's 2 teams and UND losing by 21. Just saying I don't think that will happen next year.
My moniker isn't CMSioux so no...
I would have no problem having a first year coach dealing with this train wreck left by Muss getting a minimum of 5 wins, playing games that are competitive and having a disciplined team on the field.
