Here's what I know...our flagship program hockey hasn't won a natty since my oldest daughter was born. Our FB team has no FBS win and our MBB team has no real signature win either. The AC MBB just beat the Irish, have beaten WI and Marquette and have made the Dance. Their FB team IMO will win its 3 straight NC. Our VB coach was just let go for being irresponsible at best and our AD is struggling to pick chocolate or vanilla ice cream as he stands at the counter for a month waiting to hear which FB coach app has the most "points" from the HR dept. Put down your stones and keep your mouths shut about anything SU has done in FB or MBB as UND has not done dick to this point in D1 in either sport.

I thought someone said on this site Faison was on that committee?

Easy...None of us have but that doesn't mean Faison has been a rock star since he has been at UND...far from it.

Considering there are about 2500+ season ticket holders for UND hockey in the F-M area...if my memory is correct. It will be a short drive for me...

So does SU have to wait until after it wins it's 3rd straight NC to name a new HC? Took U Dub what...3 days to name Petersen as HC. Are we that backwards in this state that it take weeks to replace a frickin FB coach??? "Points system" aside Faison should have had a top 3 list nailed down 5 minutes after he wiped away the tears after canning Muss.

Christmas? Really? So the school to the south by then could potentially have punched their ticket to a 3rd straight NC game and have named their new HC? Nothing like wasting an opportunity to grab some much needed hype and pub for a FB program that is irrelevant in it's current state.

Who??? In Pflu you have a coach who has won a NC, has been named BS coach of the year, has had significant success in the BS, is a proven top notch recruiter and has something to prove after being thrown under the bus by his president at Montana. What am I missing???

Not disagreeing about BB as a potential hire but Pflu only decent name in the hat. This fan base needs an answer...before SU names their new HC. Faison should realize this...I would hope. Again after visiting with my Griz connections in Missoula I am all in for Pflu.

Of course...stripped to the core it's a government "agency". Oh I get it...that's why one of the most in demand fields nation wide right now is HR!

Of the 71 apps 99% of us here could agree on the top 5 without a points system. HR protocol? Just saying...

If this "point system" has any...I mean any bearing on Faison hiring a HC...I'm with you on the load of crap comment. This isn't the NFL combine w "measurables"...hire a proven winner at this level not someone with the most "points" based on the job listing.

Bubba is on a shinking ship with Dale at SIU. Pflu as HC then he brings in Bubba as DC and Schmidt and Digger as assistants to get this sorry D back it's nasty days of the early 2000's!
