Hahaha. Well played...

Explain...

Very sad to see. Unfortunatley I'm sure there is more to this story especially when police say no foul play is suspected. People usually just don't walk in front of an uncoming train. Unfortunate...
-
Side note...a 43 year male was killed in Fargo as he was hit by a trian. No foul play suspected. Saw Schloss posted former UND standout Chad Johnson was killed last night in Fargo. Would these 2 situations be the same? Can't find anything naming the person killed by train but people normally don't just walk in front of an oncoming train.

Mean spirited?? Are you serious? The year they went 8-3 they "pasted" NAIA Sioux Falls 15-13 and that was after getting whacked by them the 2 years before. You can be an apologist and an enabler all you want be this is ridiculous. Muss is gone because of many, many factors...the most important in the grand scheme of things is he lost, and got blown out, way too often and people were sick of it, myself included, and decided not to sit thru and watch that garbage anymore. FB attendance pays the bills in the AD in a big way, but to try and spin the blame towards hockey...pathetic. IF UND FB puts a BSC winning team and a legit playoff team on the field people will show up...not complicated. Getting rid of Muss is a small step in getting fans back to the Alerus. You can have an opinion but you just don't need to fluff it up with bogus excuses and apologies that aren't on point with the true facts.
-
OK we get it...you are upset that now you have to move out of Muss's basement since his house will be on the market soon but don't worry because in your eyes he probably has a shot at the HC position at Nebraska when that come open at the end of their season. Faison even said attendance was a factor in letting Muss go...regardless of how many excuses you want to make people would not have stayed away in droves if the product on the field wouldn't have been complete garbage most games. Winning games keeps butts in the seats. Losing to a NAIA school and routinely getting trounced by top BSC team was the issue.

I'm with UNDvince here...on a my short list Brooks is the guy. The guys in that locker room will sit up straighter, have better eye contact and listen more intently to a former B1G and NFL QB. He would have instant credibility and respect from the get go... plus I have no doubt he can coach and coming from WI you can bet he would build from the lines out. In Brooks we trust!!!
-
Childress and his "kick a** offense"?
-
Bollinger #1 and Caruso #1A IMO I think if Brooks could turn this program around and into a yearly playoff team/NC contender he might be more apt to stay longer at UND than if Caruso were to do so.
-
My bad...I thought I remembered Faison promoting him. I guess that makes this disastrous situation more palatable. Just saying...
-
Let's make no mistake that when Muss is let go that it will not be a "good" day for this team, program and university. Coaches and families will be put in situations of unrest and the unknown and without jobs. That is never a "good" thing. It will also be an admission by Faison that his hire of Muss from within the program was a mistake and the 6 years of "damage" to this program will be evident for a least a couple more years to come IMO. At some point a change will and has to be made, but as an alum and supporter of UND athletics it won't be a "good" day when a change is made...but this once proud FB program can't continue on the course it's currently on.
-
This statement isn't even arguable. One would hope it's that clear to Faison...
-
I totally get your comments...I'm just stating if you attended one of the 2 schools or were raised in this state your loyalty is pretty well cemented...whether winning or losing.
-
I have driven I-29 up and down for years for FB and hockey and have never seen "red taillights" in numbers up and back for FB games even in the '01-'03 golden years when the Alerus was full. These crossover fans obviously don't travel between Fargo and GF. Again just have not seen this crossover with those I accociate with from both schools.
-
Wow...you must roll with a different...and fickle crowd...cause I don't know of 1. Guess I need to get out more.
-
. But that is not competing for as was suggested. That's bandwagon and happens at all sporting levels. Remember those Saturdays of the Babich era...
-
Not crossover of "true" fans of the 2 schools. I know so many people in Fargo that are SU "fans" now but have no clue who Satter is or Hager or Bentrim. So you mean those fans?
-
I see your point... always nice to be seen with the super model until she is involved in a car wreck.
-
I guess we will because that just doesn't happen for fans of the 2 schools. My kids have grown up all their lives in Fargo and get nauseated by the green and gold!
-
Neither is UND...when it comes to the 2 ND schools there is little if any fan base crossover...especially if you were raised in this state. There is no one I know who was a UND FB fan that now supports SU or visa versa over the years.
-
No way too sugar coat those stats at this point...but it's early...and we are young...and we are nicked up...and we have played a brutal schedule to date...and wait til after Christmas. ("We" was used at Mafia's request. )

You don't ever ban anyone with "Mafia" in their name...
