And how many times has UND upset a FBS team to date? But I guess being a 3+ TD underdog on the road with everything else factored in screams..."So you are saying there's a chance..." That was really fun to watch...both defenses were absolutely pourous for most of that game.

I'm heading to Missoula Friday to hang out with a good buddy who lives there. I'll bring that game up and his response, as it always is, will be that squad was the worst Griz team in the last 15+ years!

The 2 woodshed beatings by the Montana schools last year really turned away a number of those "non-hardcore" fans.

This prediction might not be far off. The spread is SJSU -24 1/2. I think...desperately hope...UND will be better on D but other than Gill who is going to catch it at the WR spot? The biggest question mark is if UND can run the ball at all in this game. If not...SJSU covers...easily. IMO too much inexperience and too many changes on both sides of the ball to even suggest UND has a chance to win this one though.

In hindsight, Faison and Bubba should have paid for an NAIA cupcake to fill next year's schedule to appease those UND supporters who want another snooze-fest home game and sure fire "W"...........................oh wait, bad example.

UND's FB program is seen as a complete joke by SU supports but now there is nothing but talk about "what happens if we lose" next September by those same people. Correct...But Bubba decided enough is enough and it's time to move forward. Good for him. That move alone shows more stones than was ever shown by his predecessor IMO.

Under...SU will get to 9 regular season wins...and tack on a playoff win. I can't see 5 sure fire wins on UND's schedule. That makes 14...under.

UND lost by an average margin of 22 PPG last year...all against FCS teams. This is vs. a FBS team and is being played on the road ...albeit not a good FBS team. If UND keeps this within 14 I'd be surprised. This team will get much better as the year goes along but not going to drink the Kool-Aid just yet.
