    No one is arguing with what you heard but for BF to go to the $600K package range to try to outbid the Flyers when MBB and FB coaches salaries are near the bottom of the BS conference doesn't look too good.

    I almost every situation like that there is an increase in dollars and/or power...and sometime that/those are too good to pass up.

    So what sways someone the 3rd time around other than $$$ and/or power? Answer: Nothing He could not have won a NC at UND and still could have stayed until HE decided he was ready to go. He could be gone in Philly after 2 years.................

    This...^^^ Hak seemed to have a "system" of dump and chase and that rarely seemed to deviate even with the high end talent he was able to bring over the years. Not all his teams were the same talent wise but they played the same "system". You can't argue with Hak's results though...minus his F4 record.

    Took 45+ days for BF to sort thru things and hire Bubba but 45 minutes to pull the trigger on Berry. Yup........makes perfect sense.

    45+ days to hire Bubba...........45 minutes to decide on Berry. Only at UND.........only w BF.

    Makes the most sense without question...........not saying it is the best hire possible though.

    Berry is the easy hire for continuity and smooth transition. Eades...Sandy then Berry are my choices.

    Speaking of KT, as I was watching the game yesterday I could possibly see a poor man's version of CHI Keith in KT if he makes it in the NHL.
