Just flat out ridiculous! Shows the ineptitude of some on this committee. Where's gfhockey with Big Cocks when you need him. Big Green Ball Sack? According to what I'm witnessing from the current committee votes that option gets at least 3 "yes".

The fact that some of these names ACTUALLY got a vote to be still in consideration just shows IMO how big of a farce the committee and process is.

I didn't stay at a HI Express last night but I know cluster**** when I see one. Bison Slayers? Article Blaze? Green anything? Blizzard Dogs? How in any way, shape or form can this be seen as a legitimate means to a respectable end?

"best for the school"? The way this process is set up I would argue that on a list of things/objectives this committee is trying to accomplish by selecting a new nickname "best for the school" comes in at #27 on a list of objectives 25 points long.

Exactly. So how does "Force" fit in the criteria (has to be unique, blah blah blah...) originally laid out in this process. None of this is making any sense. Again...zero leadership, zero common sense and zero blueprint on how to get this nickname issue resolved.

I am sending in my check today to renew my athletic season tickets and for my Champions Club support. First time I can honestly say it is with some reservation I sign the check. Losing the nickname was one thing...I have accepted that but this whole process of trying to find a new nickname as of late coupled with Kelley et al handling of student body and its president and that dispute a couple weeks ago makes me question what the **** is going on at UND. Kelley is a complete joke...has been almost from day 1 and has turned UND into a local, regional and national embarrassment due to his complete lack of leadership and competency.

This...^^^ I would to see Kelley to form a task force that will form a committee as to give an explanation why some publicly "popular" names were omitted, see post above, yet some ridiculously stupid ones remain an option.

I have frequented both places for the past 30+ years. Love them both. Big Boy: 2 Pizza burgers flying saucer style with fries and gravy and a vanilla Coke. Dairy Barn: 3 BBQs with a chocolate shake. One could throw in the open face hot beef with fries and gravy at the Trapper's Kettle in Belfied too. Grew up hitting both spots...and still get to each one as my schedule allows.
