Regardless of the outcome this process has been a complete Sh*t Show and I'll put most of the blame on the 2nd committee for not adhering to the criteria set forth by the 1st committee when narrowing down the potential nicknames...............the rest of the blame I'll put on Kelley..............just because he's Kelley.

At least the current students can tell their kids that after UND could no longer use the best nickname in the history of college athletics (little dramatic I know) they were very instrumental in choosing the new nickname.................that 28 or 29 universities already use.

Most important stakeholders? Really??? Because they have invested what...1, 2, 4.....in the case of some like MM 9 years of their lives in the university to date. Most important? I'll continue to say they are following the Pied Piper Kelley and his PC agenda to ram FH thru. Ill informed to say the least. And by the way my youngest is a 4th grader and she currently are working on the state capitols in school......she knows all of the east of the Mississippi River. Has to learn the rest in a couple weeks. She'll by on standby this weekend if the REA needs a "student" to rattle off more than 5 capitals in 30 seconds.

From almost everything I can find and read on this topic it sounds like the university students are going to carry the vote and elect FH as the new nickname. Pretty sad scenario that they A) have followed the Pied Piper Kelley and his PC BS B) are basically voting for an adjective C) bought into a NA looking Hawk logo that will never happen ...........or D) all of the above

Nothing remotely close to this will be the Hawk's logo for UND.

Sad is an understatement.

The Vikings are doing things to win games now that GB can't do...run the ball and play some defense.

And I can say if RR would have been cut I would have switched my vote to Nodaks.
