Undesirables............unfortunately the F-M area is getting more of them. Unfortunately in the situation above there isn't one less after the police shooting.

UND opens as a 9 point dog on the road. Over/under total is 39. This has the makings of a game were Studs will have to play a big part in getting the win if UND want to go to 4-1.
-
Only 3 shots fired from the cop...........he should have emptied his gun on this JA.
-
At some point, probably more than once, in conference play UND will be down 2 scores in the fourth and Studs will have to make plays in the passing game to pull those games out. We'll see how that goes.

Booooo........booooooo. Fire Cratter!

Just my "I'm pretty good at Madden" opinion on the 3 QBs as I have seen in the past couple of years. None of the 3 make you go "wow". All 3 have looked pretty good, ok and not so good at times. If....and I'm saying if all 3 are healthy and one can find a groove to play somewhat to his potential and get this offense looking like a decent FCS offense (minus the barrier of restricted mind numbing play calling) it is Joe. Really good athlete for the QB position and arm strength to make any throw. Of the 3 he has been the most inconsistent in his play and tends to make more poor decisions with the ball than the other 2. Studs is 5-1 in his last 6 and 5-3 since taking over from last season but he has shown to be the least skilled and have the least FCS qualities compared to the other 2 and of FCS QBs I have watched from other teams. A QB should be able to throw the ball. That is not his strength. Bartles is the safest pick of the 3. Good game manager, decent thrower of the ball, good enough athlete to keep plays alive, makes good decisions a majority of the time. Do you make a QB change at this point...no way but from what I have seen Joe has the most ability to be an above average FCS QB but has also been the most up and down with his play. Bartles is the one that probably has all the parts to be decent enough consistently to make most of the plays and make this offense respectful enough to maybe make them a borderline playoff team. I think with Studs what you see is what you'll get from here on out. This should clear things up for most of you on the QB position and questions that have been raised here. Carry on.............

Today the offensive played better from the past 2 weeks.....the D did not. But at the end of the day UND is 3-1.
-
Exactly...........complete sh*t show.

If this season has a chance to go somewhere it has to start with a win Saturday: UND 20-17

I have read in multiple posts here the Fighting Hawks is a reasonable choice as it keeps "Fighting" intact and that one word is a carry over from Fighting Sioux. I was never the smartest kid in class but isn't "Fighting" an adjective...just a describing word? The argument is that at end of this cluster of a process a specific adjective, not an actual noun...person, place or thing, is the overriding factor in selecting a winner among the 5 options remaining with some? Yup that make sense to me................

I have tried to wrap my brain around this concept...........I got nothing! Marketing has to have some "logo" or object that ties to the nickname. I see no way this is accomplished with Nodaks. Maybe the outline of the state of ND w an interlocking ND in the middle............................

"New Americans" what do they bring to the table in the region
Oxbow6 replied to Redneksioux's topic in Community
I saw that too. Nothing surprises me any more with this POTUS and his crew. How Sophie from CA wound up in DC today is just coincidence............ -

Point blank..........the players on offense are not as inept as a collective group as they have shown in the last 6 quarters. IMO a vast majority of what is going on offensively falls on the coaching staff with the OC at the top of the list.

Most bad, cheap or dirty hits rarely are done with the intent to injury but because of the recklessness of the hit towards the opposing player involved an injury is often the end result. Do I think the SU kid intended to injure the UND player........no. Do I think, after watching the replay multiple times, that the SU kid knew it was a reckless and "cheap" hit........absolutely. Again.....the result is just the end byproduct intended or not.
-
But that doesn't excuse the fact that it was a reckless and undisciplined play at a minimum. The injury outcome is just the byproduct.
-
............still you! Thanks for playing.
-
At the sake of repeating myself for those NDSU tools here that frequently ride the short bus...........go. watch. the. replay. of. that. play. To argue anything other than that was a bush league hit is pure ignorance.
-
And you my friend are a complete idiot.
-
Pathetic Bush League play. Cheap and dirty are being too kind.
-
Go back and watch the play where the UND safety got hurt. You can just catch the NDSU player as he dove at back of the leg just below the knee. That's why the foot was at a 45 degree angle from where it should be. Complete punk a** play. If Kleiman had a pair he would sit the D Bag for a minimum of 2 games.

Go Seattle? Guess your are not coming over this week for our weekly pedi and watching of Emipre!
