This...^^^ IMO he was the best all-around collegiate forward to play at UND in the last 25+ years. He was a bad a** too. His 80+ PIM in each of his his final 2 seasons speaks to that.

You had as many collegiate goals as Murphy did when he left..................

Olson is not a top 6 guy heading into next season. If Schmaltz comes back my 2nd line is Pogo Rhett with either JJ or Gesich. I'm not sold on Wilke but could see a 3rd line of him, Simo and Gersich or JJ

Of all those potentially leaving early IMO the biggest single player impact for next season to come back is/would be Schmaltz. His talent is ridiculous. There won't be a drop off on the top line if he comes back and you add Jost to him and Brock. <fingers crossed>

Cursed is an understatement. Makes no sense that that location can't keep a business open for any length of time. Bennigan's was far and away the most successful at that location to date.

Having Ladue back would be a big bonus but getting Schmaltz back IMO is what would make next year's team an instant contender. Getting both back......back to back Nattys.

Smart money is on Poolman coming back to play a year with his brother.

KT was at best the 5th best D-man on the team this season so if he goes he goes. Others will easily step in and fill that void.

So this Jon Lipp guy felt the need to opine as a "big brother" to UND to give his concerns with those who still use the term "Fighting Sioux"............one would think he would be more concerned about whether he should apply as an assistant manager at Burger Time or Burger King when he finishes his Business Administration degree at SU.

The game vs QU was as lopsided as the score. QU had minimal chance to compete 5 on 5 from the drop of the puck. The 5 on 3 showed that was their best chance to score all game long.

I struggle to understand the argument that someone who contacts BF in any fashion about giving $$$ to the athletic department needs to keep reaching out to BF because he doesn't have the common courtesy to reply to the intial contact like a true professional in his position should. No one should have to stand with their nose pressed to the glass of BF's office door to get his attention when potential dollars are on the line.

Bingo. The Flagship University of ND IMO has a second rate AD who struggles and has struggled with some pretty basic needed qualities to move the athletic department in the right direction in this ever changing landscape of college athletics. I think a number of us on this site know a few people on the inside at UND many of which could not wait for Kelley to walk out the door....now they are waiting for BF to leave as soon as possible too.

Skimming over his wife's Vogue magazine while taking the daily dump is acceptable.......not a letter from someone saying "can (we) potentially give your athletic department a big chunk of change".

If I was ES I'd be suggesting to BF that he might want to be updating his resume.

Fact: Hak is not at UND anymore. Time to let go and move on. Fact: Hak had multiple chances to hang #8 and didn't get it done. His F4 record speaks for itself. Fact: Berry just hung #8. Enjoy it.

At the end of all of this I think Pooly stays to play one year with his brother. Schmaltz stays per the advice of his brother and to light it up with Boeser. Keaton has zero business going anywhere.

Cam leaving would be head scratcher.........and for the record Zane wishes he would have stayed this season as well.
