Whether some here like to admit or not the top teams in the MVC run the ball effectively and are able stop the run. Rushing for just north of 40 yards while getting gashed for 300+ is not a recipe UND wants to take into the MVC.

If UND starts of 1-2 which is possible the attendance should be very good vs SDSU. But what happens to home attendance going forward if UND loses that one? Who will show up at 1-3 vs a bad Mo. St. team? Now if UND is 3-1 I'd hope people would come to watch them go to 4-1. Attendance or lack thereof has to be a big concern for Chaves at this point.

My guess unfortunately is they'll have 10 FCS championships before UND ever hits 10 regular season FCS wins.

I'm hopeful next season is Bubba's last. Schuster and Skokna will be a seniors in 2022. That's best case scenario.
