  1. So most likely we'll all get to wash rinse repeat this whole process again in a year?
  2. Any bets MSHSL cancels all fall sports in the state...….because of the "science and data" of course?
  3. Overall 3.6% positivity rate. Recent "uptick" in positive cases in past few days reported by the local media.........number not discussed is the positive testing rate around 2% during that time frame.
  4. Per CDC (nationwide)... 166 influenza deaths this season 17 years old and younger. Roughly 5x more deaths than COVID-19 to date.
  5. Flathead Brewery and Tap Room in WF closing. Cause of death.......COVID.
  6. Again.......40ish hospitalized in ND and around 250 in MN. So should both states still brace for this hospitalization surge we have been told was inevitable? Just keep rampinging up testing just to pad to the "positive cases" to scare everyone some more. That's the new current measuring stick.......positive cases. ......but hey at least we aren't Florida where medical labs weren't even counting negative tests and putting out 98-100% daily virus positivity testing rates.
  7. What were you anticipating he would do?
  8. Were you expecting him to make a sweeping one size fits all state wide approach? I wasn't but I think Walz will do that. Belfield schools aren't the same as Bismarck schools which aren't the same as Enderlin schools. The Fargo school board will tuck up their collective nuts and go with a hybrid model which will be disastrous.
  9. Burgum gives the ok for ND schools to reopen face to face. Gives the individual school boards the authority to decide how to approach it academically. My odds that (Dictator) Walz allows the same approach by letting the 300 school districts in MN decide is 20% and got a Benjamin on the under. He is too much of a liberal "I know what's best for you" idiot.
  10. Went Friday and Saturday night. Great time.
  11. Does this fall into the same category of an "outbreak" like when 2 of 320+ NBA players were positive when tested recently??
  12. ND has around 40 currently hospitalized due to COVID. MN around 250 hospitalized. Deaths.....no dramatic change in either state but now the focus in the local/regional news is all about positive cases. Do 6000+ test in a day and get 99 positives, of which 40 (CDC estimate) had no idea they are "sick", and watch out. This "uptick" BS is just feeding into the misinformation that fits the media to further an agenda to fit the fear porn narrative. Pelosi recently stated the "greatest risk" to the spread of the virus is sending kids back to school. All based on science and data? She is such a f-n moron.
  13. ....and on cue Walz uses his executive power to extend the state's peacetime emergency for another 30 days. Could not handled the rioting, looting, criminal activity and burning within his state but now trying once again to show he's not a eunuch.
  14. Guess we'll find out as LA and San Diego school districts just announced they won't reopen campuses in the fall.
  15. If those preaching the fear porn have their way...……..you and all the other parents out there. Yet all the teachers out there who don't won't to go back into the classroom won't have any problem seeking care from those within the medical community, who are at a vastly higher risk, if need. Personally I find that hypocritical since the kids have almost no risk of transmitting the virus. Visit with any educator in ND or western MN and almost to a person they'll tell you online learning doesn't work for elementary and secondary schooling.
  16. That statement is laughable really. Guarantee most schools and universities won't be open in this country in a few weeks. That's not following the science. Kids under 14 have a greater risk of death from the flu. If teachers are afraid to go into the classroom to teach go find a different career. I'm still waiting for some expert to come forward to say that if you are under 60 years of age and in good health your risk of mortality from Covid is less than from _______________. (fill in the blank as there are lots of right answers)
  17. I think we'll all defer to Fauci on this one...….. But on the topic of "science" is Walz still anticipating the 20000+ deaths from the revised, revised, revised, revised data and science his models are giving him?
  18. CDC just came out and said their "best estimate" is that 40% of those infected with COVID are asymptomatic.
  19. Just talked to someone who's father was in a nursing home. He had end stage CHF and renal disease. Got Covid then passed away. She said his cause of death was labeled Covid even though she said his doctors said he had weeks to live at best.
  20. Looking for live sports at a good venue in the FM area? Redhwaks at Newman.....Post 2 at Jack Williams. Least baseball is back.
  21. But that will be the argument that keeps kids out of schools and colleges all across the country for awhile. The LA teachers union recommend schools stay closed this fall. There's a shocker. They are using the "children's safety" excuse. If you work in any area of education and you are afraid to go back into a classroom setting or just don't want to go back to do your job please find another career. Right but at least you know everything on everything so we're fortunate you post! I'll take that as a compliment as it puts me in the same category as Birx, Fauci, Walz, Adams, Redfield and I could go on and on.......
  22. AM Joy on MSNBC. Colored maps on new cases. Shows ND as an "uptick" in new cases. Of course no context. The last two days of new cases in ND the positive rate has been half of the overall positive rate to date. BTW is there a more pathetic POS on a national new channel than Joy Reid....but I digress.
  23. CDC = Can't Decide Crap What a collect group of dogs chasing their tails.
  24. Ducks/Bison game canceled
