According to this article, it says that he is still day-to-day:

I like the team's attitude as well. No mention of Prpich's injury, can we assume that he is playing then??
-
Yeah, definitely a nice guy.
-
Yes, I'm sure most of us were. But then he got injured a few times, and that tends to lower the point totals. I agree with skateshattrick, if he remains healthy next year following his surgery, he will be doing great.
-
My bad. I thought that only even-strength goals counted, didn't realize that SH goals counted as well.
-
All the players get +1 if they are on the ice when their team scores. All the players get -1 if they are on the ice when the opposing team scores. PP goals and SH goals do not count in the +/- stat.
-
What do you think the lines would be should Prpich play? I see the top two lines remaining the same. Leave the 3rd line intact, but move them to 4th in the line chart. New 3rd line of Prpich-Fylling-?
-
I disagree. The Sioux have been winning games all season with Brady out of the lineup, they can continue to do it. Having him in the lineup would be a huge boost, but they can still win without him. I wouldn't classify this as a "soph slump." It would have been easier for him to break out in points if he wouldn't have missed 16 games along the way. I don't think anyone was thinking he would match last years output, especially when both of his linemates went pro. I look for him to have a big junior year. Hopefully he can remain healthy and this isn't a reoccuring problem with his shoulder.

I went to tvguide.com. Go to the listings grid, then select your city and cable provider. Or you can just do a search for "college hockey" and all of those games will come up. That might be easier.

Sioux got a really tough bracket. Having to play two Boston schools in Mass to get to the Frozen Four is a tough feat, but I feel that the Sioux are playing well enough to do it. BU hasn't been playing as well their last few games, and like diggler said, BC is missing their top 3 players. I feel that Denver has the easiest path to the Frozen Four, it would take a big upset for them not to make it. Minnie also got a tough bracket. Go Sioux against BU!!
-
Get well soon Robbie. Hope to see you in Sioux green again next season!!
-
I think that the future looks bright for the Sioux next season with the play of Spirko and Zajac, tied for the team lead in goals with 15. They both play excellent two-way hockey as well. As long as next year's team can get decent defensive play out of the frosh dmen, I like the look of next year's Sioux.

I agree that this team has shown that they can score against Duluth. The Fri night game at the DECC could have been worse than 5-1 if UMD's goalie hadn't made some really nice saves. The Sioux were essentially toying with UMD on offense. I would like to see that UND offense again against UMD this weekend. If not for a few mental defensive breakdowns in the Sat game (including one with 30 sec left ), the Sioux would have walked away with 4 points.

Is Chorney playing in a tourney somewhere, or is he injured? I thought I saw his name on the list of a U17/18 team that was playing currently. Either way, he hasn't suited up for the Sabres in a few weeks. Also good to see Toews catch Gergen in points with 4 less games played.
-
We also need a 3rd goalie. I'd say go with that Smith kid that plays for Holy Angels.
-
I like our chances in this regional. Plus, it would provide the opportunity for the ultimate in payback with the Pios for last year.

I am amazed at the movement of Minnesota. Two weeks ago they were ranked #12. They sweep SCSU (9th place team) and move up to #9. This week they sweep MTU (10th place team) and move up to #6. That is crazy. By contrast, the Sioux get three of four against both Wisconsin (#6 at the time they played the Sioux) and SCSU, and barely even move back into the poll? It's stuff like that why I am very glad that there is no human element to PWR.

We should probably worry about getting past UMD first...

About time.

Minnesota State High School Hockey Championship
brianvf replied to siouxnami's topic in Men's Hockey
Oshie scores 6 sec into the 2nd period to put Warroad up 2-0. Nice snipe from TJ to beat the goalie. The physical Warroad dmen are doing a good job of neutralizing the smaller STA forwards (including that little 8th grader Schroeder). Warroad now scores again after a nice rush. 3-0 War -
