I think we’d be a 2 seed in the NIT with that.

Schmaltz got hammered in the faceoff dot. Only won 8 of 23. Wilkie with a great game, won 14 of 19 faceoffs, had the goal plus another couple chances.

CHN now shows us at 23.

Both Jubenvil and MacDonald saved pucks that got behind TJ.

It all started with the ‘defining’ win last Friday. Huge win. Now bury more of those chances tomorrow and send the Clown boys back with no points. Great shutout for TJ.

It’s so common now too. A ton of teams do it. I’m not a fan either.

1-0 after 2 That's probably the best 2nd period the team has had in many weekends. They had a ton of chances but could unfortunately only bury one. They could have scored 3-4 that period easily.

Perron, right in front...needs to bury that.

Right? Perron post, again. Kid would have 2x or 3x the goals in his NCAA career if not for all the posts.

Strathmann showed his breakaway skills last week on his goal.

Sounds like MacDonald is back in this weekend. Maybe Jammer if his bruise feels better. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/und-hockey/isak-posch-has-been-playing-at-a-hobey-baker-level-for-scsu-whats-next-after-his-injury

Damn, you'd just feel bad for him if that was the case. Hopefully he can make it back...
  16. Updated as of 12/9 Klee with a great week, now has 10pts in his last 5 games Laurila, Zellers and Heil (Heil got a shutout in his only game thus far) at the WJAC tourney USHL (Forwards) Klee (Muskegon) - '05: 23gp - 10g/10a Pilgrim (Tri-City) - '06: 24gp - 4g/11a Schultz (Chicago) - '06: 21gp - 7g/7a Zellers (Green Bay) - '06: 17gp - 15g/6a O'Neill (NTDP U18) - '07: 26gp - 4g/6a Sanderson (Muskegon) - '07: 14gp - 2g/2a Bumgarner (Fargo) - '08: 22gp - 2g/2a USHL (Defensemen) Laurila (Fargo) - '06: 22gp - 4g/18a Lindberg (NTDP U18) - '07: 25gp - 0g/4a USHL (Goalies) Heil (Madison) - '06: 11gp - .897 / 2.63 (8-2-1) Other Simpson - MN HS - '07: 6gp - 9g/3a McKamey - BCHL - '09: 25gp - 4g/6a
  17. I bet they’re hitting it hard to find a forward or two for next year. We’ll have a couple holes to fill.

Stay out of the box. SCSU PP is (as usual) humming. Our PK has been bad at times.
  19. Rough weekend for CC out in Providence getting swept. They are similar to DU...both had their long winning streaks to start the season and have struggled a bit more lately. CC started 8-0 but have gone 2-4 in their last 6...with those two wins being OT/shootout.
  20. Perron, Boisvert, Strathmann really stood out to me as making progress lately. Swanson too...he's not as noticeable, but he's been getting on the scoresheet (3A tonight). We need more scoring out of OMac/Wilkie/James and, like you said, a few players to get back (Berg/Jammer/MacD would be huge) and hopefully this team can take a step or three forward.
  21. I like Northeastern at #24 with a 4-7-3 record. A win (or more) over #7 SCSU next weekend would certainly be a big help.
  22. Yep, certainly could have been worse if they didn't pull off that comeback yesterday. Not the best that this team could play, but they got two regulation wins and 6 pts, so that's all that matters. Now on to Clown. Cross our fingers that maybe MacDonald / Jammer are able to play (they seem to be the closest) and get some points.
