Last weekly edition of Bracketology before the conference tourneys: East Regional (Albany): 13 Minnesota-Duluth vs. 4 Providence 11 Harvard vs. 5 Boston College Northeast Regional (Worcester): 16 Robert Morris vs. 2 Quinnipiac 10 Yale vs 8 Massachusetts-Lowell Midwest Regional (Cincinnati): 14 Michigan Tech vs. 3 St. Cloud State 12 Notre Dame vs. 7 Michigan West Regional (St. Paul): 15 Minnesota vs. 1 North Dakota 9 Boston University vs. 6 Denver Once again, QU is in the easiest bracket on paper, and that West regional is a killer. This is, of course, still assuming that UMN wins the B10 tourney.

They're my favorite to lose in the first round by the score of 8-6, with the CCM line scoring all 6 of their goals...but unfortunately for them, their horrible defense and goalie letting in 8. EDIT: Brad sums it up pretty well:

I agree. I would think Vesey has it, especially being that he is a senior leader and was in the running last year too. The problem with the Michigan trio is they will divide votes between them and make it harder for one of them to win it. Plus, after giving the Hobey to a freshman last year...they might not want to do that two years in a row with Connor.

That's ridiculous. They should check those guys' PPG and compare them in conference and out of conference to realize how the vast majority of their points were from eating up their in conference cupcake schedule. And only one guy from a NCHC team? Weak. Hopefully Vesey wins it and makes this a moot point.

They put Minnesota State on there twice. Minnesota State is supposed to only be in the Eliminated with loss category...Minnesota Duluth is supposed to be in the Need AQ category.

Every team is entering the tourney on a win streak. DU at 11, UND at 8, UMD at 6, and SCSU at 4. Should be fun.

That's four pretty darn good teams right there. UMD and DU have been on a tear too. UMD is the only one that might need to win the tourney to continue their season...they are smack dab in the bubble.

Yep, agreed. And both of those teams would be fighting for their PWR Lives...while UND would be comfortably in the tourney.

DU/UNO game still to finish. Currently tied at 2 in the 2nd. If UNO wins today and then tomorrow again, we'd play UNO on Friday.

And BC loses 4-2 to Vermont. Clown getting revved up now, 3-1 over WMU.

QU loses 5-4 to Cornell.

Agreed. But it seems the UNO fans are hellbent on winning something this postseason...whether that be on the ice or on the internet.

B10 still has their tourney next weekend...all teams make that.
