  1. I think there's a 0% chance that we see you post a single post during the regular season, a 0% chance we see you post during any of the regional games, and a 100% chance we see you post if the Sioux are losing the semi-final game at the F4.
  2. Providence played a similar style of game to UND. Of course, UNO didn't press them too hard. Go Sioux! Shut down Eichel line and put pucks on O'Connor...he misplayed a couple during the regionals.
  3. Yep, the players were even talking about it in the papers...about how Massa wanted to beat Zane to prove he was the better goalie. UNO got absolutely worked. Embarrassing effort on their part. You could say that Blais can't get them up for a big game?
  4. UND’s lines 9 Drake Caggiula–27 Luke Johnson–15 Michael Parks 28 Stephane Pattyn–8 Nick Schmaltz–7 Wade Murphy 29 Bryn Chyzyk–17 Colten St. Clair–3 Tucker Poolman 21 Brendan O’Donnell–13 Connor Gaarder–14 Austin Poganski 4 Keaton Thompson–24 Jordan Schmaltz 5 Nick Mattson–6 Paul LaDue 20 Gage Ausmus–2 Troy Stecher 31 Zane McIntyre 33 Cam Johnson 30 Matt Hrynkiw Boston U’s lines 17 Evan Rodrigues–9 Jack Eichel–10 Danny O’Regan 26 A.J. 5. Also, when Matthews is added to the fall roster, it will make it even better. Caggiula–Johnson–Gersich Wilkie–NSchmaltz–Boeser Chyzyk–St. Clair–Murphy Olson–Simonson–Poganski
  6. I am excited about those 3 coming in next season. I know that we lose a lot of senior leadership and scoring this year, but all three of those players have shown an excellent ability to score goals in a tough USHL league. I like the thought of having a pass-happy NSchmaltz on a line with one or two of those incoming freshmen. Could be quite the fun.
  7. Sounding like a Providence win in the first semifinal. Massa is already looking forward to a potential matchup with UND. Getting jobbed for the goalie of the year award? Haha, that's good stuff.
  8. I don't think the effort on the Fri night BSU game had anything to do with coaching...
  9. The term buddy can be used loosely...the restraining order that Blais has against gfhockey is quite complicated.
  10. 0-0 UNO has never made it to the F4.
  11. Chambers isn't always the most accurate with his info, but I did get a chuckle out of him and Montgomery already penciling Matthews into a line for next season. That's good stuff. Matthews is an elite talent...if he commits to any college, he'll pretty much be a near shoe-in for their top line right away. But this article makes it sound like it's a done deal. What happens if he doesn't go to DU? They'll have to rethink their entire 15/16 team strategy!
  12. You could see that on one of UMD's goals today (forget if it was 1st or 2nd goal). The UMD player was skating the puck up the boards into the offensive zone and instead of the BU defender driving him into the boards, he just let him skate right by with the puck. He had the angle on him too where he could have easily put him into the boards.
  13. Cost includes three nights’ hotel accommodations at the Hyatt Regency Cambridge. Not sure if that means that the team is staying there as well...

  15. The good news is that with the Mankato loss and tonight's win for UND, that should move us back to #1 overall in the PWR, right?
  16. Haha, I kid. I kid.
  17. I think DU makes it to the title game from that side of the bracket.
  18. The prospect of the winner of this game playing a very good BU team in Boston is a pretty big task. That said, their goalie let in a couple of softies.
  19. What happened to Miami? They looked so dominant last weekend. I guess Barber and Coleman held their team together.
  20. O'Connor from BU has pretty much given UMD both of their goals. He is not playing well.
  21. Wasn't it Chris Dilks that said Mankato and Tech were easily two of the best teams in hockey and that he'd be surprised if both weren't in the F4? Tech looked good last night but MSUM didn't look that good at all. Either way, both are done.
  22. To offset that, maybe Hak has been playing some head games as well and we see Mark Mac out on the ice tomorrow.
  23. Right on. Bring on QU and let's get to Boston.
  24. I'm thinking that #1 MSUM doesn't make it out of their bracket. I think Blais leads UNO out of that region. I think both Maroon and Gold teams (BC & UMN) both lose in the 1st round against DU and UMD, but UMD will lose to BU for the F4 bid. If Miami can get past Prov without Coleman, and if Barber is ok (anyone heard anything?), I think Miami beats DU for the F4. Miami was very impressive this past weekend. UND, on paper, has the "easiest" bracket IMO. If the Sioux team from the a couple weekends ago shows up, they make it out of this region. If the Sioux team from the NCHC tourney shows up, they don't make it past QU. Tech and SCSU should be a decent game. I think Tech advances. SCSU didn't really impress me a ton this past weekend.
