  1. They kept trying to force it.
  2. BC's 9th straight loss. Ouch.
  3. Senden with 1g/1a, both points coming right after he gets out of the box.
  4. Another PK. Time to shift those marbles, refs.
  5. Being outshot 11-5, Driscoll playing well so far. Boys need to play better than that if they want to win this game. UNO had plenty of grade A chances. Need to tighten up defensively and not rely on Driscoll bailing them out. It could be 3-1 right now.
  6. Penalties biting us yet again.
  7. Agreed. Good time for those two to get some solid minutes, hopefully they're able to play well and get some experience. What's going on with Budy? Is he still injured? On Schloss' line chart, he just lists him as a scratch, not injured.
  8. Which UND team will we see tonight? The one that beat SCSU and swept DU? Or the one that got swept by Cornell and lost to PSU?
  9. On the flip side, a tight checking game from us could lead to more PP from them depending on how the game is called, which could lead to Ward adding to his NCAA-leading PPG number this weekend.
  10. Chucko was an awesome goalie.
  11. I don't pin the Cornell series on the goalies. Two of Cornell's goals on one of the nights the d-corps basically let a Cornell player completely alone in front. Plus they had no goal support. The offense came alive a bit during the SCSU series, and hopefully they can continue that against UNO. I just want some consistency in play from week to week. If the goalies both continue their solid play, the fourth line continues to chip in, and we can get reliable dman replacement minutes with Sanderson out, I like our chances.
  12. This is the type of optimism we saw heading into the Cornell series. Ha! Hopefully this weekend turns out better than that one.
  13. How this same UND team can get swept by Cornell but take 5 of 6 points from SCSU is a mystery. Cornell has had a couple bad losses since their weekend here. Doesn’t bode well for their postseason chances.
  14. Yes them too, for sure.
  15. Yeah the sweep at the hands of Cornell is more to blame for their current PWR ranking than last weekend at WMU.
  16. Much like UND last year, this is SCSU's chance to win a title before they have a bit of a fall next season. I'd put Western Mich in there as well. And maybe Michigan, but they'll probably just bring in six 1st round recruits again to replace their losses.
  17. Probably Michigan's last game for a few weeks. I'm assuming that they'll just be canceling all their games until their players return from the Olympics, right?
  18. Albrecht almost with that highlight reel goal in the 3rd.
  19. And props to Driscoll. He hasn't exactly had a dominating year so far, but he stepped in at the start of the 2nd and didn't give anything to SCSU the rest of the way (even in the SO). Nice job!
  20. Now they have to show what they can do without Sanderson for a few weeks.
  21. Huge. Huge weekend. Against one of the best teams in the nation. That's one way to let people know that you're not laying down after a rough start to 2022. Nice work boys.
  22. I would have stuck with Hellsten, but if Driscoll wants any consistent starts the rest of this season, he needs to shut this down tonight.
  23. This team lacks any consistency at all it seems. While I'd love to see a sweep against a quality team like SCSU (home or on the road), this team has to show it can win 2-3-4 games in a row first. We'll see.
