  1. That game is over too. DU won 5-0. Fanti let in 5 goals on 26 DU shots. Maybe not fully recovered yet.
  2. He played tonight.
  3. Good to have Costantini back.
  4. I wouldn't be very surprised with any result, especially with what UND has shown us recently on Friday's.
  5. Yes, the opposing teams do keep scoring early.
  6. At least not on Friday's.
  7. No, Fanti got the start tonight for them.
  8. Exactly. CC is no pushover and we're without two of our best players. One of which is possibly the best player in college hockey.
  9. No Sanderson and no Calder. Hmm. Wouldn’t be surprised with another split. Hope he’s not out long term.
  10. Two big questions: Can they break the Friday letdown curse tomorrow? Does CC still have the floating Tiger head on their webcast?
  11. Ciskie just wants a trip to Hawaii.
  12. https://www.grandforksherald.com/sports/hockey/7314698-UND-expects-Ashton-Calder-to-be-ready-after-Christmas-break?fbclid=IwAR35PZcqFdFhxoj3OSLjuFblI0v440QQnDx46n6E2nFcpo2hS4momafTX_k
  13. The team showing up for the Friday game would be a plus as well.
  14. I think Gaber has potential for that role. Dude has a wicked sweet wrister. Much like Duncan, he even has his "spot" on the PP.
  15. I didn't see the last 2min that way at all. I just rewatched it on NCHC.tv too, and it was the same as I remember. Those last 2min were Sioux hockey! I lost count of how many blocked shots UND had. Sanderson blocked like 3 in a row, one right in his chest. When the best player in college hockey is putting his body out there like that, that says something. SCSU pulled their goalie on the 4x4 to make it a 5x4, then again after the Jamernik penalty to have a 6x4. SCSU has the best PP in the nation, and UND kept them to the outside for that entire 2min, got in passing lanes whenever they tried to go inside. SCSU also missed the net a bit and many shots got deflected. Other than the penalty (which looks to have been aided by a bit of a dive), UND closed that game out very well IMO. SCSU had maybe 2-3 shots get to the net that entire last 2min. Also, watching the replay, the Jamernik penalty definitely happened prior to the Kleven ENG. Kleven had just taken possession when it happened, and then he shot the puck. The refs made the right call there in not allowing it.
  16. Morrow with his 6th goal tonight for UMass. Impressive for a frosh dman. He's tied for the team lead in goals and 2nd in points. He would have been an excellent 2nd pairing dman for us...Sanderson on the 1st pairing and him on the 2nd would have made for a great 1-2 combo in offensive dmen.
  17. Or any pushback at all. Ha! Or Ness missing that one tap in. Not sure how that didn't go in. It keeps it wide open for NCAA's. Make the tourney and any team could win it.
  18. Wouldn't mind seeing a CC win there.
  19. How the hell did they beat UND by a touchdown? Ha! They blew all their chances last night I guess.
  20. I'm interested to see how we fare against Cornell next month. They certainly have a good record. Probably lose Friday, win Saturday? I'm assuming Sanderson and Kleven will be back from WJC by then.
  21. That win jumped UND up a couple spots in PWR too...back to #5. SCSU fell all the way to #8 with the loss.
  22. At least I had the score right! Thanks for proving me wrong, business suit boys.
  23. Sounds good. Faceoff wins. Sometimes easier said than done.
  24. Wow. Huge win. Didn't expect that at all after how absolutely terrible they played last night. Tonight, some of those bounces that SCSU got last night went our way. Nice bounce back from Driscoll and the d-corps. And a much better effort from special teams. PPG, SHG, and EAG.
