UND moved back up to #4 in PWR with the win. UMN drops to #12. Next week they play #7 SCSU. Huge series for both PWR and NCHC standings!
-
Don't let his superfan know that! Odd that he's nowhere to be found when UND is playing well. Huh.
-
For most of that game it looked like men against boys again tonight. Just the roles flipped. All I know is that Sandy would have won both games this weekend.
-
Score was closer than the game play would indicate. UMN is a good team, so it was great to see UND bounce back after last night and take it to them tonight. Very lopsided shot attempts and final shots. The gauntlet continues next weekend against SCSU. Hoping that Calder, Constantini, and Kunz can all go, as some additional forward depth would be great.

Doesn't get much closer than that for Caulfield from center ice.
-
Ooh Gaber, so close.
-
That's pretty much the same thing that UMN did to Gaber in the 2nd period and it went uncalled. UMN goal
-
Hell of a play from Sanderson to set that whole goal up while UMN was trying to get it out of the zone.
-
They said he shot the puck after the UND goal and it hit the ref. SOG are 20-6 UND after two periods. That's insane. UMN is no slouch team...holding them to 6 total shots after two periods is impressive.
-
McLaughlin with a 10min misconduct. Serves him right after his slash injured Calder last night.
-
Thanks Senden!
-
Wouldn't mind another UND goal for cushion with all those shots.
-
OMG. They could have called that like 6 times last week and then they call that instead? Pretty weak.
-
They put Gaber back on his strong side for the PP too. Such a weird decision to have him on the weak side when he's shown he can be so good from the strong side.
-
Shot attempts 18-3 UND? Geez. Keep it up, boys!
-
MSUM outshot LSSU 22-10 but lost 1-0. They slipped down to #6 in the PWR with that loss.
-
Yeah, he's 2nd on the UMass team in scoring. As a freshman defenseman. He's at almost a pt/gm pace right now. I don't pretend to know all the in's and out's as to why he packed up and picked UMass instead...but if the real reason was because Berry wanted Johnson to come in instead and push Morrow back...then that decision is looking very foolish right now.

I agree that they probably won't get a #1 seed. But their play to this point had them at a #1 seed until tonight's result. So who knows how this will end up, it's a long season. They just need to play more consistently. Sanderson still sick a bit? Didn't notice him nearly as much as his last few games before his sickness.
