7 players out with injuries/illness...hopefully nothing major and all are cleared to play when the games actually matter.

I'll take the under...but I bet he'll get close. I also hope the scoring will be somewhat spread out...we have guys that can score, so hopefully we're not relying solely on Gaber to score like it felt like sometimes last year when Sanderson was out injured.

The article said that half the team missed practice today due to illness. Ouch. Let’s hope they get it out of the way early and get healthy soon.

Anyone heard where Mitchell Miller is playing this year? I would've bet that he'd get picked up by some college team after his monster year in the USHL last season.

Fresh recruit Boisvert starting off strong in the USHL with 3g in his first 2 games.

While not "official", the men's college hockey season kicked off tonight with Simon Fraser playing Anchorage! Tomorrow they play Fairbanks. We're getting close! Our favorite time of year is nearly upon us.

Such a great clip. I still remember watching that game. Trupp's burst of speed...he was such an electric & fun player to watch. He somehow stays on his skates when he nearly gets spun around. Then Frattin buries the bouncing puck.

Awesome. He helped bring UND it's first ever NCAA title and now helping the hockey program out for future & incoming student-athletes. That's pretty darn cool.

Agreed. Both of those players were a joy to watch at UND even if both had less of an impact due to circumstances outside their control. Pinto with the COVID cancelled post-season and Sanderson with his injury-riddled 2nd year.

Thanks for the updates, appreciate it as the excitement builds toward the new season starting! I feel that DeRidder will have a good year in net. He's never had a team (especially d-corps) as good in front of him as what he'll have this year.

Yeah, I mentioned the same thing when McMorrow committed to DU. For a kid that played MN HS hockey, his numbers sure don't jump off the page. We'll see how he does on the NTDP this season.
