I'm not really liking our chances against SCSU this upcoming weekend. If we get swept again, how far back do they have to look to find when we were last swept on three consecutive weekends?

Ouch.

Yeah I get your point for sure. To be fair to guys like Calder and Ford, those two had tied for the NCAA lead in goals last year. We need those two and Gaber to be putting the puck in the net a heck of a lot more. But right now no one is for this team. Berry needs to be doing a full-court press to land Logan Cooley right now for next season. That'd be a huge stepping stone to get some "blue chippah" forward talent & depth on the roster moving forward.

I think we showed that this weekend.

Plus all these teams that kept a bunch of 5th year seniors will graduate and come back down to earth a bit. Looking at you, Western, SCSU, etc.

We had to bring in those portal guys because we lost a ton after last year. A ton. We lost more than any other program in the NCAA. If we didn't bring in all the transfers, we'd have 14 freshmen on the roster right now. I had higher hopes for this year than what the team is showing now, but UND is still an elite program. We had the #1 team in the nation the last two years in a row...something was bound to give when all those talented players graduated or left for the NHL. This season isn't lost yet, but it certainly is teetering. Hopefully they can right the ship and at least make the NCAA's. Next season should be better when we're bringing in more talent and potentially only losing Sanderson.

Have we even scored 19 goals all season??

With Sanderson leaving soon, that's not good at all.

Man, one goal all weekend. We'll see what next weekend brings, but we should probably prepare for more of the same.

Unfortunately if they lose tonight, there's a very real chance at being 0-6 to start the new year. SCSU next weekend is gonna be very tough. Hopefully they can pull this one out, but they're having a hard time generating much offense.

WMU is very good at clogging up all the lanes with their size and speed. UND doesn't get very much time or space to do anything once they get the puck.

Refs finally call the hold when UND tries to follow the puck after a dump and chase. They've been doing that pretty regularly.

Crazy that the CC series was already 6 weeks ago. Back when they were still winning some games.

They do get behind quite a bit it seems.

We've seen this enough this season already to know how this one is probably going to end up. When is the last time this team came back from a deficit to win?

Gonna be hard to win if we don't play in their end at all.
