  1. He'd be a high end replacement for Sanderson, for sure. I wonder if any colleges are coming calling.
  2. Wasn't the prettiest game by any stretch, not a ton of offensive chances...we can thank the scoring from the back end. But a win is a win, for sure. Close it out tomorrow!
  3. Not the best PP I've ever seen.
  4. No one in front to screen, goalie saw it the whole way, but it rockets past him.
  5. Wow. Kleven rocket off the post and IN!!
  6. Ah yes you're correct.
  7. UND with no sustained pressure in the offensive zone. Just a rush here, rush there.
  8. Calder with a ton of iron
  9. Cmon. Defense breakdown 1-1
  10. Nice patience to go around the downed CC defender. 1-0 UND
  11. Ness stuffed on a breakaway
  12. A few minor chances at the end of the period that showed a bit more possession, but nothing sustained or Grade A.
  13. Not a lot of activity on the ice tonight.
  14. Good PK 13min into the game, SOG still 1-0 CC Oh, now 2-0 CC
  15. Geez 8min in and one total SOG?
  16. You broke it down nicely! Definitely a good argument for Fersch there. UND was picked to finish #3 in the preseason poll, rather than #2 (almost tied though with #2, as you mention). 5th year players...you're missing Washe for WMU, although he has since been kicked off the team, he was a big returnee at the beginning of the season. When it was announced that Attard, Frank, Passolt, and Washe were returning that should have bolstered WMU's ranking in the eyes of NCHC and USCHO preseason pollsters, but they were under-ranked IMO. WMU kept their talented group together, while UND had to hit the transfer portal in order to replenish their losses.
  17. It seems we always get the regional that has the potential second round matchup against a fellow NCHC opponent. Seems to happen pretty consistently.
  18. https://www.collegehockeynews.com/news/2022/03/10_Bracket-ABCs-March-Madness.php Loveland ... 3. Denver vs. 15. Ohio State 6. North Dakota vs. 10. Michigan Tech Allentown ... 1. 19. My guesses: Brink PotY Mazur RotY (same pts as Rizzo but more goals) Fanti GotY (would love to see Driscoll get it but they gave Fanti 1st team, so my guess is he gets GotY too) Frisch or Sandy DDotY (would take either over DU ) Ford DFotY (but they'll prob give it to Worrad) Berry CotY (I've seen mentions for the WMU coach, that's crazy with all the super seniors/Attard they returned...UND lost half their roster and still won the league...we'll see how the WMU coach does next year when they lose all their top players this offseason to compare)
  20.
