We’ll see how ASU responds. I was fully expecting sweep last weekend too after how the boys played on Friday against DU. I expect a stronger effort from ASU tonight…but that said, if UND tightens up a little defensively, I think a sweep is in order.
Agreed. Looked like he was more just pushing against his facemask.
What about the missed head contact on UND earlier in the game? Goes both ways, Powers.
DU on the verge of playing themselves out of the tourney.
Down to #13 now and SCSU up to #15.
A few NCHC teams might be on the bubble come tourney selection time.
Benching a young skilled player after one mistake was the Berry way. I like that Dane is letting these young highly skilled guys continue to play and develop. Yes, they’ll make mistakes but this experience will pay dividends in future seasons. Laurila will be a stud as an upperclassmen.
The team just plays better in front of Jan, period.
Homer has made some nice saves but is all over the place. Not the calming presence of Jan, that’s for sure.
My thoughts as well. Homer has looked better his last few starts when compared to his early season.
It's still Jan's net for the foreseeable future, but I can see Homer getting a start one of the games.
Homer returns to ASU wearing green this time:

Potter is a loss for ASU for sure, but Schimek and Lucius are the two I fear more on ASU's roster.
Those two on the PP is deadly.
Similar to UMD's top line, if you can keep those two off the scoresheet, I like our chances.
