Hoping BC knocks them off tomorrow and then BC gets knocked out in F4.
-
Yeah. You know he def knows more than he is reporting, which is why his outburst at the firing was so odd. Like in his article about Berry's firing where he mentioned the info about other schools actively trying to poach our players as far back as Jan (when the issues started!) and about other schools contacting our recruits. Neither of those are earth-shattering news for sure, but he had never mentioned that in any earlier podcast or article. Yet you know that he knew about it happening.

DU 4-0 Zeev and Aidan Thompson appear ready for the next level....just a bit.

Ha, i just posted the same thing in the other thread. Great minds.

UConn matches UND in NCAA tourney wins for the last 9 years.
-
They're looking better than BC looked against Bentley. I'd like to cheer for NCHC schools, but I just can't cheer for DU ever. If it comes down to BC/DU, I hope the winner gets taken out in the F4 semi.

DU up 2-0
-
Of course DU would get a lucky bounce like that in the NCAA tourney

Snuggerud has signed

This UConn team could have had Matthew Wood too
-
And he certainly didn’t want to be answering dumb questions about it.
-
Yeah in his last year of eligibility.

UConn 2-0 QU has nothing going.

UConn 1-0 over Q

As we literally just witnessed with the Bentley/BC game. BC's team of chippahs squeaked out a win against Bentley.

January is when it all changed for this season and when the admins starting thinking seriously of replacing Berry. The ASU weekend was turbulent and when the tension between Berry & Jackson kind of overflowed...rumor is that they almost came to blows. Then the horrible home weekend against WMU. Then the following weekend when the "Jammer incident" occurred during the bye week. The admins started hearing about these issues from players, staff, and team personnel. Players were not happy with how Berry handled the Jammer issue...Dane wanted to handle it in a different manner that aligned with what the players wanted as well. Berry is a great guy, no one is stating otherwise. I think he got taken advantage of a bit with that and he couldn't make the tough choices, especially with this year's senior class, their playing time & roles, and the Jammer issue. By the time the season ended, the decision to replace Berry had already been made and had been in process for at least a month or more.

1min left 2-1 BC

Dang, what a horrible way for that to go.

Now the refs find their whistles.

Just a really insightful interview with the ice crew there.
-
Wow, nice backdoor pass. 1-1
-
Big get if true. He still hasn't played a single game this season with his back issues.
-
That’d be a thriller.

Seems like the rumors are all over the board, which is crazy. Some rumors are saying that some players are staying or leaving regardless of the coaching decision. Some rumors are saying that players will only hit the portal if Dane doesn't get the job. Others are saying the opposite. Hard to know what is true at this point. I guess we'll all find out once the portal opens on Sunday and once the coaching decision is made. And I have no doubt that recruits are getting calls. Guys like Zellers & Laurila, with the great USHL seasons that they just had would prob be getting calls from other schools even if Berry hadn't been let go. I'm hoping that guys like that stick with their commitment regardless of who gets appointed head coach, with the goal of trying to help get this program back to where it needs to be. Those two would be big pieces of helping to propel this team to another level next year. Plus, it'd be a pretty fun time watching Boisvert and Zellers rip it up together on the score sheet.

If (and an IF) Dane gets the head coaching job...I'm hoping he brings on board at least one young up-n-coming assistant and cleans house with some of the others. I agree with you that the AD messed up this firing/hiring process. I'm gonna be a UND fan regardless of who is HC next season, and hope that the boys get past some of the issues of this past year. Seems like a lot of it had to do with the exiting SR class. Go Sioux.
