  1. Bear recovery timeline has been stated as 6-9 months. If it's 6 months, he would be ready for fall...if 9 months, more like mid-season. We'll see if the rumors of him heading here are true, hopefully they are. I'd bet that we're looking at quite a few CHL guys, especially forwards/centers.
  2. Remember to tip your waitresses, thank you and good night!
  3. Haha, he sure did change HS a lot. If he sticks with the Force for a few years, it gives me hope that he could stick with UND for a few as well.
  4. Now you’re thinking like Jammer.
  5. Sometimes I wake up from a nightmare screaming “they were on the ice!”
  6. I’m hoping there is some mention of Chyzk and this role on Thursday.
  7. Man did Davis look horrible in that UNLV game. He couldn't stop a beach ball and looked so slow to react to pucks. And now he's unbeatable again. So crazy.
  8. That sounds like a repeat of 2016. Count me in.
  9. As long as you don't RELEASE them PREMATURELY we'll be ok.
  10. Maybe heading back home to LSSU after their recent seven figure annual donation to help their hockey program.
  11. SS.com needs all that advertising revenue to continue to operate successfully.
  12. It was from an email exchange between myself and Jonathan Holth from 1883 Collective this morning. He said it was ok for me to post here and that anyone is welcome to send him a note if that have any questions about how 1883C is working to make sure that we can all help UND athletics moving forward.
  13. You do realize that mods can see your email address. I understand your frustration and wanting to vent, I truly do. But please do not come on here just to plant a bunch of rumors to incite the masses. Thank you.
  14. Jamernik seemed to play a big part this year.
  15. Notes from the 1883 Collective group from this morning:
  16. I was mainly just talking about next season in my response. Going forward past that...yes for sure, we will definitely need a much larger presence in the NIL landscape.
  17. Maybe if neither team can fill a full roster after this season, we just agree beforehand to play 4x4 with shortened rink dimensions?
  18. Oh for sure. He's a guy that UND could have built the entire offense around.
  19. Jackson is making the hard decisions. That's a positive from today's debacle.
  20. I think this team can still compete --and win-- in the NCHC and nationally. They just need a team that can buy into the team and play together as a cohesive unit. This past years UND team certainly lacked both of those. Look at a team like WMU. They had Bump and Hampton essentially as "studs". PSU? Other than Fink, I can't name a single player on Penn State's team. Yet both those teams made the F4 this year. These schools that load up on first round players are fun to watch for sure, but none of them have won a title in the last decade +. I'm sure Boisvert will have a fine season in Boston next year, but odds are that he won't win a title there and then he'll sign next year at this time. Jackson has some work cut out for him this offseason, for sure. But I'm still interested to see the product that he puts on the ice next fall...if they can play better under him than they did for Berry the last few years.
  21. That press conference just got a bit more interesting too with the announcements made today.
  22. We might need a few more forwards for next year. Bear would be a great first piece. Forwards (2): SR - Strinden, James JR - SO - FR - Defense (2): SR - JR - Zmolek, Livanavage SO - FR - Goalies (0): SR - JR - SO - FR - Players with eligibility remaining: F - Swanson, Littler, Croal, Andrew D - Wiebe, Jubenvill, Strathmann, Emery, Komzak G - Hedquist, Huson Recruits that need confirmation: Zellers, Klee, Zakreski, Laurila
  23. Boisvert is the only one among those three that stings. Perron and OMac could have helped the team for next year, but if they both had one foot out the door months ago...then we're better off without them. I'm hoping the Boisvert news gets offset with a Bear announcement soon. A local(ish) Winnipeg kid that wouldn't be so likely to jump ship due to an Eastern school floating money in his nose. That said...UND needs to get a handle on this NIL situation. And fast. Losing a player like Boisvert simply because we couldn't pony up the change to keep him shouldn't happen.
  24. My guess is that it wasn't announced to the locker room...just that other players had suspicions. Dang. That's being blunt.
