I've now added a Widescreen version, and I've also uploaded a version of each without the calendar option. Kristo - October 2010 - Widescreen http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/7899/october2010ws.png Kristo - Widescreen (No calendar) http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/8171/kristows.png Kristo - Standard Screen (No calendar) http://img809.imageshack.us/img809/728/kristo.png I'll learn from my mistakes with this one, so hopefully the future ones are better. Enjoy

Darn you, I was hoping no one wanted one that big, oh well...it's on its way.

Imageshack works. Here is a standard screen aspect ratio...I will be finishing up the widescreen sometime later today or tomorrow for those that have widescreen monitors (like myself). Click the following link 1280 x 960 Danny Kristo Wallpaper

I don't remember ever finding Bina or Finley...but there is Duncan in there.

I mentioned in another thread I wanted to make monthly wallpaper calendars for your desktop background. I have October's finished, and I would like to have full screen resolution links for you to get the image from, but I need someone's help (maybe Jim's?). I have an account at Photobucket, but they downsize your images, therefore defeating the purpose of the image. So, if someone has a good image hosting site where you can upload large images, or if Jim wants to help out and host a few pics, that'd be great. For now, here's a little teaser...

Hopefully this trip will be a worthy one.

Potulny has a goal in the 1st period with the Blackhawks against Detroit.

See, I'm right, you are the only one that cares anymore...let it go.

I actually agree with most of what you wrote that I ultimately deleted, but wanted to point at that what I left in the quotes there isn't entirely true. Sure, most students don't stay in North Dakota who are from other places, but I am one of multiple examples that prove your comment wrong. I'm from Wisconsin, went to school at UND (obviously), but have a job lined up in North Dakota once I get cleared to do so. You have to realize that there are a ton of North Dakota kids who have lived there their whole lives that go to school at UND or NDSU, but end up leaving the state as well. It's just the way things are in NoDak.

Can't let it die, can you? Notice how no one said anything about your idiotic proposal while you weren't busy bumping your thread with useless replies. There must be something in the forum rules about bumping posts.

He is from Minot. Never heard of the guy before, but I like him.

Plans are me and my fiancee to attend Green Bay vs. Fargo on Oct 2. I'm pumped, it'll be a little taste of hockey before watching the Manitoba exhibition the following night.

So SHELL is to blame then....hmmmm, I guess I'm not purchasing anything from them anymore.

Can't you let the thread die when we people stop posting, or are you going to keep bumping the thread with useless posts to keep pushing people's buttons? If it was such a great idea, why don't you let the idea carry itself? It's in the open now. If you have to keep trying as hard as you are to keep people's interests, it's obviously not a good idea, so why can't you figure that out?

I talked to Mr. Clifford...errr...Tom, too. It's funny because he always talked about this idiot kook with his insane ideas but always had a smile on his face in amusement. The sparkle in his eyes were the tears of laughter he was holding in listening to your half-brained ideas. There will be a cure for cancer, an alien invasion, world peace, and California will finally break off into the Pacific Ocean long before this ever happens. And, what's funny is, you actually think it will make the state better. None of this matters anyways...the world ends in just over two years ya know.

Hi Bill, my name is Adam (that's what the A is for)...although I'm not the big dude my alias suggests. I am here today to tell you that you are an idiot. Have a nice day.

Speaking of Kansas City... They are 2-0. The 'queens? *laughter*

What does North Dakota bring to the Big Ten's table? It fits in geographically, but that's also the problem. The Big Ten wants to expand into new money-making markets, hence the reason they are considering the east coast with schools like Rutgers. Nebraska still has a national following, hence their addition. North Dakota would very little to add to the Big Ten's wallet, so there is little to no chance a UND/NDSU merger would even be considered. There are more people in many metro areas the Big Ten would like to expand into than there are in the entire state of North Dakota. It would be cool, but I'm still in reality unlike a limited few people smoking the illegal stuff.

Well that'd be one darn good basement buddy...UAF is in most people's pre-season Top 10 lists.

Young never played for KC. He started his career in Tampa Bay, then backed up Montana until Montana left. Steve finished his career in San Francisco.

Your site talks about "cost-cutting measures" by combining the two schools....then you talk about renovating Hillsboro's airport and building a 50,000 seat stadium with a retractable roof. You are a regular comedian...I hope I didn't have to pay to read these jokes.

Preliminary opinion from NCAA on UND/NDSU combining
Big A HG replied to Bill Kiefer's topic in Community
It's always been known that competition is a good thing in business. You can look at NDSU and UND as businesses despite the fact that they are publicly-owned non-profit organizations. The spirited and sometimes heated competition between the two schools has, for the most part, has been greatly beneficial for both schools. I'm talking academically here. They may have differences in courses offered and other things, but each seems to be always striving to be better than the other. So, what happens when you get rid of that competition? Sure, you'll probably say "oh, well we can be competitive against other schools in other states", which is true to degree, but that is already the case with each school in itself. Not only does each school compete against each other, they are already competing against other universities around the country. Other than to make one big institution on paper for the heck of it, what's the point of all this? If it ain't broke, don't fix it. -
The reason they are separate to begin with is the travel costs for teams in the lower 48. Having to make two trips to Alaska would be costly for many programs. Otherwise, they'd probably be in the same conference already.
