  1. 2002-08 Nike dazzle
  2. Bump We need two more jerseys! Please help UND out. Looking for a white and a green, will consider any size. Paying top dollar. If you have any special requests as compensation, just ask! Thanks again to those who have helped out already, it's been much appreciated! Remember, you'd be helping to provide an eye-opening experience for recruits and showing honor to the former players who've come before.
  3. "Nick Mattson, defenseman, sixth round, No. 180 overall: Mattson finished up his junior year at North Dakota this past season. He had four goals, 19 assists and a plus-8 rating in 40 games. The Blackhawks like his development. " http://espn.go.com/blog/chicago/blackhawks/
  4. Still looking for a couple jerseys. Thanks for all those who have emailed me already. We really need your help on this!
  5. Sold outright, sorry Mr. T. Thanks for asking, though.
  6. Also, the renovation is only taking place on the players/coaches level of the arena...a private area. Once complete, an already top-notch facility is only going to get better, making it an even more eye-opening experience for recruits, current players, and the alumni who return.
  7. Still looking for a few jerseys! Please email me and name your price! We're willing to negotiate for some nice sweaters. Thanks to those who have gotten back to me already.
  8. I take it you can't help.
  9. As you likely have already heard, Ralph Engelstad Arena is being renovated at the players/coaches level. I have been asked to help with a certain area of this project pertaining to acquiring a few jerseys. Since Sioux fans are the greatest out there, we are turning towards you for help. Details on what the jerseys will be used for are under lock and key for now, but I assure you that you will be a part of making UND an even greater eye-opening experience for recruits, current players, and even the legends that still walk the halls of REA as alumni. The best part is you'll be paid to help out! Here are the details: WANTED: ---White Nike Dazzle jersey ---Black Nike Dazzle jersey ---Green Nike Dazzle jersey (x2) ***Sizes 52-56 preferred, but will consider other sizes ***Blank jerseys preferred, but not required ***Obviously we prefer jerseys that look new ***We are not looking for game-worn jerseys nor replica style jerseys The sooner we can have these jerseys in hand, the better. We would like to have them in hand by mid-July. PAYMENT: You will be paid directly by Ralph Engelstad Arena. REA is willing to pay fair market value for these jerseys. If you'd prefer Sioux Shop gift card money we can look at options there, even for increased payment. Since every transaction needs to be on record, we will need to have some sort of invoice paperwork created for our end, which I can help you with. Please contact me with what you are able to part with and we will discuss the value of your jersey. CONTACT: Please contact me ASAP via siouxjersey@gmail.com. If email doesn't work for you, contact me via Private Message here on the forums. PHOTOS: These are the styles we are looking for: Thank you!
  10. This is a great example. It shows that much of the issue deals with perception opposed to fact. Many can believe what they want and there's no way to change their mind until something happens that changes their perception. I still believe in personal choice, but if it were me, I'd lean towards more facial protection opposed to less, just like I'd still wear my seat belt even if there was no law saying I have to. With enough common sense and teaching, people will do the right thing whether or not a rule is in place. Those who don't should only be punished with whatever additional injury takes place because of it.
  11. I agree with you and disagree with you. I agree that masks are probably for the better. Is it weird that the NCAA is seemingly the only league other than youth hockey to mandate full cages? Yes. However, I do think they do more good than not. I honestly don't believe it's out of the realm of possibility that with enough lawsuits against the NHL that they'd ultimately mandate it, which would trickle down to all leagues. And those lawsuits are a matter of when, not if. Where I disagree with you Dave is enforcing rules like this. I agree with Mariucci using the seat belt example. I'd prefer everyone to wear one, but, I don't believe anyone should be forced to wear one. Gretzky may not have liked any sort of facial protection because it limited his vision and hearing, just like some would argue that seat belts are more restricting and can even do more damage in an accident. It's all perception of each individual which is why there's sometimes no right or wrong answer, which is why nothing should be enforced, only encouraged. Just my $.02
  12. If I send one of these in the mail to Hak he will have won a Natty. Then, everyone will be happy that Hak finally got his Natty.
  13. I see both sides of the argument, so I don't really have a say in which direction I'd prefer it to go. Just from what I've seen across the sports landscape in recent years, I'd be that the NHL would mandate full cages/masks before college dropped them. There are too many lawsuits involving head injuries these days, and it's only a matter of time before the NHL really gets hit hard like the NFL is going through. There already have been lawsuits in the works involving old head injuries from retired NHL players and I only see it getting worse going forward. As a CYA measure, I can see the NHL implementing them, whether or not it's right or wrong.
  14. The AHL is a great league. I used to catch quite a few Milwaukee Admirals games. The pace of the game is similar to the college level, only with more skilled guys. Plus, there are usually tons of former college kids playing which is a bonus.
  15. The fact that Rocco hasn't said anything says to me he's leaning on leaving. Three teammates all basically say on the same day they are staying, and Rocco wasn't included. Seems strange.
  16. Shy isn't necessarily a bad thing. By shy, I'm assuming you mean he's not very vocal. Some of the best leaders don't say much at all, they just lead by example. I would imagine that Toews didn't earn his C with the Blackhawks at age 20 in only his second year with the Blackhawks by being outspoken, he earned it by his non-vocal leadership skills. Then, when a non-vocal leader does step to the plate and say something, you know it's important.
  17. Gothberg was playing solid, no doubt. But, Wilcox was playing just as good going into the title game.
  18. Did you try trapping them or what?
  19. Also, that story is amazing pathfinder. It's incredible to read some of the history about the past that our program has had. If there is anyone else out there with a similar story as to what pathfinder has....don't be scared to post! I know there are a lot of people with great history and knowledge of the program that read the forum, but have never posted.
  20. It was indeed Michigan State.
  21. I actually went to high school back in the day with a kid who had that issue when he was born. For the most part, he was a pretty normal kid (other than being allergic to just about everything under the sun, which I don't think had anything to do with it). Good to hear the baby is doing well.
  22. Well, if you're going to spend the money that it would take to get a patch, I'd get the right one. This may be just me, but it'd look silly with a UND125 patch meant for a green jersey on a white one. Don't take it the wrong way as I'm very fussy when it comes to things like this. I just live under the impression that if you're going to do it, do it right. For what it's worth, if someone DID have a green UND125 patch they'd sell Sioux2b07, I'd trade you a white for a green, then you could sell the white to him/her.
  23. No doubt! I am too! Sorry I'm in the process of renovating. Most of the update work will happen post-Frozen Four.
