The difference is you knew Hak's teams would be there in the end. They never missed the playoffs and made more Frozen Fours than they didn't under him. Slow starts were frustrating, but you knew they had the talent and coaching to turn it around. We are so badly outcoached and now definitely out-talented that there is no hope for massive turnarounds with this team. We have one playoff win since the championship 7 seasons ago. We have been trending in a bad direction for a long time. UND and its fans should not settle for mediocrity.

It's been many years since I knew a few of their recipes by heart, but I'm pretty sure it's just equal parts buttermilk and generic (like Sysco brand) salad dressing with a lot of coarse ground black pepper to taste. The red sauce is equally as simple, but can't recall exactly. DM me that Cay wing recipe unless it's the one on Reddit which I've found. If anyone has a Cay BBQ sauce recipe, that'd be even better.

This is a very bad trend, and these trends start becoming very difficult to change this far into a tenure. The national championship was seven(!) seasons ago already and the team has won only one NCAA game since then, against a very poor AIC team. This call for Berry's head isn't out of nowhere, it's a realization that a program of our stature is not meeting expectations, and hasn't for the majority of the seasons since the national championship run.

The program, Hak > Berry, is starting to feel a lot like Woog > Lucia. The sooner we realize that Berry is a really good guy, but a mediocre coach, the sooner we can get back to championship ways.

I'd love to move on from Chelsea Dagger, but I also can't offer any better suggestions.

What a fucking joke. We have REA. We have the best training facilities. We have decades of tradition and NHL talent to recruit off of. We host the best games in the country. ....and YET...we resort to filling out our roster with second-rate transfer portal kids because we can't recruit. We are out-coached every game. We are fucking NORTH DAKOTA and should be forced to play ASU 3x5 to keep the win to single digits. What a joke.

No, but last time I subbed to B1G+ it was a nightmare to unsub. It's been a few years so maybe it's better now. What culture is that? 3 sog in the first period of the biggest game of the season against a mediocre Notre Dame team? 24 shots on goal total with extra time? Basically zero display of skill at any point in the game? The idea of recruiting a team of nail guns who will staple you to the boards all game while cycling the puck endlessly until you turn it over...then sometimes getting an outside shot while the opposing defense just packs it in because you have no skill isn't going to cut it in NCAA hockey anymore. Our best scoring chance was a penalty shot and our best player couldn't even put in on net while doing absolutely nothing skill-wise to try and beat the goalie. But hey, we have "culture"...it's won so many other titles for us. It definitely wasn't because our 2016 title team was full of NHLers that Hak recruited.

I think Berry is quite fortunate that he nabbed that title so early in his tenure. Take away that year, and UND is on quite a horrid looking path compared to the accomplishments of his predecessors. With the standards UND should have for its program, and considering the funding, facilities, and history that our team entails, we should not look so repeatedly lackluster at tourney time.
