I agree that Genoway is better on D...The games I have seen that he has played forward he has been pretty ineffective...keep Chay on D.

I can pretty much guarantee you that Forney is on a full scholarship!

I talked to Woog on Sat night at Sugar's lounge and he said the Gophs are the bigger and even were the more physical team, which I cannot disagree with. The Sioux do not have size on the blue line other than Big Joe who has played great this year! This team really misses one Chris Porter!!

I am not in practice but I just do not understand why Forney cannot get in the line up. Here is a kid who was fairly heavily recruited....and I belive offered a scholly by the Don and he cannot crack our line up. I mean come on....there are plenty of spots for a taking, Miller, Zajac, Martens...and even Trupp. I just dont get it...PUT FORNEY IN THE LINE UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Malone will be fine...he is not the least of the problems on this team.

I am guessing we will hear on Buddish pretty soon. I would like to see him see the light but if he chooses the Goofs we will be just fine. That being said Zach....see the light!!

Yeah well Oshie at 60% is still our best forward by far. Teams are keyting on Duncan and he cannot get off that snapshot like he could last year. Two of his goals this year have gone off of opposing players. I am not knocking Dunc but just pointing out that a lot of his goals last year were due to the attention other teams played to Toews.

Yeah well that is fine, but we don't have Johnny Toews to rely on coming back this year. That was a very poor effort on Sat night. There just is not the scoring punch developed yet on the lower lines. They give up goals but do not score goals. Put in FORNEY....I am so tired of Martens, Miller and yes Zajac. Radke would have served better than those three this past weekend

Trupp needs some work. He is knocked off the puck too easily, kinda like Miller. I think you will see big strides out of him in his junior and senior year. However there will be some growing pains.

Not a good weekend...we were lucky to get 2 points. We need more guys to become threats to score goals. I know there is a lot of hockey to be played but we played less than 2 periods of hockey this weekend. Red River could have held their own against us this weekend.

Let's play more Old Time Fighting Sioux hockey....man it is KILLING me I can't be up there this year!!

Yeah don't fool yourselves. The games against the Goofers are never some walk in the park. The Sioux will have to be at the very top of their game to get 4 points. We are way overdue for a sweep at home and could there be a more perfect time....I don't think so!!!

I have to disagree with you when you say Miller is an amazing talent. Right now he is an average at best college hockey player.

Jones takes a lot of penalties though. He needs to do a better job of playing sound positional D w/out the penalties.

Yeah I know, he is a physical presence for sure. However it is time for the freshman, especially Trupp and Malone to get their feet under them and contribute some goals. This goes for Zajac and Miller as well. If we want to be the last team standing in April we need scoring throughout the line up. Forwards who are stuck on 0 goals at the Xmas break needless to say need to step it up. Miller has 2 goals, one does not even really count as that was the mess up by the Dogs defenseman that he got credit for. He is an offensive player and needs to score to have a positive effect on the line up. He is not a physical player.

You can add Malone to that list. We will need everyone pulling their weight to gain 4 pts this weekend. I would like to see Forney, but that probably won't happen. He must be really frustrated!
