  1. Thats interesting. Everything Ive ever seen had him from GF. Guess I learned something new today. The article also said "North Dakota was the only W.C.H.A. team anywhere close to Minneapolis." Poor Jan Brady...always forgotten
  2. Gwoz would be a great story line and theres plenty of Sioux fans that would love to have the old villain back
  3. Nice article, Dave. Very well written.
  4. Corban Knight with a hat trick for Abbotsford last night
  5. Where...is...Kan-gas? Where...is...Kan-gas??
  6. Mine was easily the Michigan game. I just sat in the stands for like 20 mins in shock. Knowing The Pony Express was done and Frattin would be in the NHL during the National Championship.
  7. D-Man Louie Belpedio?
  8. Those three along with Kuraly makes a couple of dangerous lines. Sucks for us, but good for college hockey. Maybe they will help us out with a great out of conf record.
  9. Philly, if my hernia repair is healed enough, or at my parents house
  10. My story is very close to this one. I knew that I would soon be a huge Sioux fan as I followed TJ at Warroad and couldn't wait to see him wear green. It was awhile before he got there and a couple buddies invited me to a game vs the Bulldogs. I was pretty excited with that because I grew up in the sticks north of Orr, MN and we only got one channel, which played UMD home games. We got to the arena and I couldn't believe how much nicer to was than all of the tiny HS rinks that Id watched games in. We sat a few rows behind the UMD bench and I couldn't believe how fast and hard hitting the Sioux played. Pretty soon, I was driving over by myself from Bemidji to watch games whenever I could and as said above, Oshie just solidified my love for the green n white
  11. When there is another Sioux screw job on a penalty call (Rocco tripped, then cross checked) and you tell your wife, "I can't wait to see what the board has to say about this!"
  12. Recovery is slowly coming along. Just pondering if I'll be recovered enough to book a flight in oh say ten days or so
  13. Well played, sir. Im recovering from hernia surgery so it was to be expected that typing on a tablet on vicodine wouldnt bode well for my grammar!
  14. I have never understood all of the hatred towards Ham. At a certain point , coaches coach and players play. Making the Frozen Four six of of ten is amazing. He gets them there and the boys need to perform. The senior yr for the Pony Express was an unreal team and they didn't get it done and somehow Ham gets the blame. He always manages to get the team playing very well by yes end and this year is probably his best job ever. This team lacks the typical top tier talent and yes gotten them to buy into the system and play as a team. I'm in the group of anything from here is just icing. I don't think anyone saw the 4-7-2 team having a shot at the NCAA title
  15. Hes probably already trying to drink away the nerves from the thought of Holy Cross II happening.
  16. My buddy wanted me and the wife to come watch some band after the games and I passed because I didn't wanna be walking around that area late at night...guess that was a good call
  17. Scheels does as well. Quite a few t-shirts left and very few hoodies. Hoodies were clearances at $30 last weekend
  18. There was a lot about the arena that I liked. We got upper tickets as I generally enjoy the higher view and I was very pleased with the sight lines. We sat lower in the title game and I think up top was better. I was bummed that they ran out of souvenir pucks. The "games" during the breaks were ok for the most part, but the chick urging people to flex, dance and kiss was pretty annoying. The all tourney team was a joke...one non-pioneer? come on Really enjoyed The Pourhouse. They made a wise business move being the official und bar. The pat downs seemed very random. I got groped pretty good, but they didn't give my wife a second look. Overall, it was a fun weekend and it should only get better as they work out the kinks.
  19. I live in Bemidji and he didn't look familiar to me Not that it means he's not from here. I actually run into a lot of people around town that mouth off when I'm wearing Sioux gear, which is always.
  20. Planned to leave Bemidji early Friday morning, but probably tomorrow evening with the sounds of the weather
  21. Thanks
  22. My wife and I have been together for about 4 and a half yrs and Trupp is her favorite by a land slide. I always tried to explain how amazing that play was but I could never find a replay. He was always working hard to make a play. Great guy too. I've gotten him to sign pucks for my wife and had him tweet her a birthday wish.
