I recall seeing guys like Forbort on twitter talking about watching a packed Sioux game on TV and mentioning that they just played a game in front of a few hundred people. I'd say the majority who leave wish they had stayed...or had more eligibility, when they are seniors
The strength of having four lines also takes a backseat with all of the TV timeouts. Easier to rest your big guns when your team doesn't have as much depth
Our seats were filthy. Looked like someone dumped tar down them. Was glad I forgot my jerseys at home so I didn't get a stain on them.
My biggest issue was people wandering back to their seats and blocking our view during play, along with concession guys always blocking us
No,nothing implying I'm better than anybody or special. Just venting that it's a lot of work to travel while on our diet, so it sucks that it was to come down and watch two horrible games.
My wife and I do competitive body building and we are seven wks from our next show. Spent at least 8 hrs prepping and packing all our meals for the weekend. After what's taken place, I really wish we had saved the time and just let our tickets and prepaid hotel go to waste
Ice looks better and upper deck feels colder. Maybe the early game and bad ice screwed them until TC cooled it down in here...although they have still played awful. Maybe it's just me but I feel like Luke is allergic to hustle. Loses his stick, slowly retrieves it, glides back while DU peppers Zane
We were freezing last yr and I wad shedding layers pregame this yr. Very sick of people being let back to their seats during play and even worse are concession guys standing in the way. At one point, I was trying to look around a beer guy for several mins (when no one is buying) and then another dude strolls in holding his rack of cotton candy up in front of everyone.
Yeah, it kind of sucks. I think my pair was $160 after fees. They are literally dead center ice, aisle seats as close as you can be in the cheaper price point so Im not real upset, but I could have dealt with different seats for half the price
I don't remember if this was in addition to a post, but Trupper was camped on the door step when the puck came his way. 3/4 of the net wide open and it hopped over his stick. That building was waiting to explode for two hours. Watching brock get hurt, then getting shut out...I remember sitting there stunned for quite a while after the final horn.
It's better than it used to be, but only since they have been buried in the WCHA. I heard plenty of comments around town during their FF run and when they joined the WCHA. Interested died off quick when their record did.
