  1. Poor throw there.
  2. Just getting in - what's going on? Score?

Leaving for Grand Forks soon! Can't wait!

    SDSU at UND

I have a feeling Zenner will break at least one long one on UND. Need to key on stopping the run (I know, duh), but the DBs need to step up on pass defense as well.
  5. 69-10 final.
  6. I think it's time to take the starters out.
  7. Not impressed with the push up front for the most part.
  8. Been waiting for this for a while - the last month has been torture.
  9. Valpo game notes. Starting D-line is 240, 245, 240. One of the backups is over 3 bills. Offensive Line is pretty undersized as well. http://www.valpoathletics.com/media/football/2013-14/PDFs/Week%201%20Game%20Notes%20-%20UND.pdf
  10. I feel that if they go 1-2, they are still going to be in decent shape, as EWU would be the only game left I would say would be "tough" to win. Not saying UND would be favored in the rest, but the rest are a lot more manageable. Of course, from a fan support perspective (which you were going for) I tend to agree. Especially 0-3.
  11. I believe it was the tone of the initial question, which to me came off as "We gave up our nickname for D1 in all sports, and we're playing this team?" to me. Heck, even in the post right above yours, he says "I don't follow Sioux, er, North Dakota football" which to me seems a little more nickname related. I think that's where some of the attacks coming from. It seems like a hidden agenda posted in the form of an innocent question (whether intentional or not, that's how it came off to me). In response to MM, I would encourage you to watch a few games on bigskytv - I too live in the MSP metro area and I catch most (if not all) games and keep myself up to date
  12. Another couple things to note - Cory McKesson (RB from Cali) who is a walkon has been added to the roster. Also Tanner Vesladahl is back on the roster (must have went from PWO to regular walkon, as I don't believe he was on the roster through fall camp).
  13. One thing to note on the two deep - for QB it actually has Bartels listed first and says "or". Goes with Muss saying the competition isn't over.
  14. Game notes. http://www.undsports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=13500&ATCLID=209227616
  15. I thought I saw it somewhere, but when did they say the new depth chart was going to be released (unless I'm completely making up the fact that one would be released)?
  16. Just to update, assuming anyone cares, both Opara and Combs are at Iowa Central CC. Maybe it will pan out that Opara will be in a UND uniform in a year or two, but likely doubtful (Aarin Smith anyone??).
  17. Sounds like Rasmusson is going to NDSU to play volleyball.
  18. Und got a verbal from Grace Sawatzke from Monticello, ranked number 15 in Minnesota per the publication I have linked above.
  19. If I'm reading twitter correctly Cole Reyes is having thumb surgery tomorrow. Anyone hear anything about this?
  20. Defense I will go with Javen Butler and Spencer Cummings. Offense I will say Golladay and Adler.
  21. Well, a friend of mine was once arrested and charged with DUI - police said they pulled him over because they saw him swerve into the parking lane - charges were dropped because when reviewing the evidence the lawyer that was hired by my buddy had pictures of where the "infraction" occurred, and it was determined that the officer had no reason to pull my buddy over as there were no white lines indicating a parking lane so technically he was swerving within his own lane which is not a reason to be pulled over. Now I don't know the situation with Frattin, but there are probably a lot of loopholes that can get a DUI charge dropped as demonstrated above.
  22. Probably one in a million With all the big offers coming in and as much time as he's spending at the Minn campus it's very very unlikely.
  23. Reading the newest camp report, the fact that Mussman called out Javen Butler by name as someone who is starting to click is exciting - I think that he could really be a missing piece of the puzzle at safety. Also sounds like the defense is really bringing the intesity. I would love for UND to shock us all and play really stout defense this year, although seems unlikely to be stout. I guess I'll accept some tackling and stops here and there and vast improvement over last years
  24. Per Tom Miller, Konowalski and Fletcher weren't practicing due to academics. Need Konowalski to be eligible to provide CB depth.
  25. I had actually heard the same thing from a pretty good source as well.
