And Diddell was apparently as Indiana State this weekend, after which he committed.

Ballard committed to SIU. We'll see if he still visits since Schmidt was his primary recruiter at SIU prior to the coaching change.

Brendan Ballard is I believe. Only one I can think of off the top of my head. Edit - Payton Jordahl too.

Does anyone know if Justin Diddell was on campus for sure? Was supposed to be per rivals but I really didn't hear anything about him.....

He appears to be a JUCO DB. I can't find much on him or his JUCO but he is from Sparks NV. He's enrolled at UND now and I believe he graduated HS in 2013. Possible UND may be bringing Rudolph St Germain in for a visit. Saw something on twitter stating he was visiting North Dakota, but it may be Wahpeton as the tweet also mentioned an offer from a JUCO in Kansas. Has pretty good hands it looks like and breaks some takles on offense. Seems to be in good position on defense, although probably would need more work on that side of the ball.

In most cases at most schools if you are on scholarship and can no longer play due to injury you still get your scholarship honored (I'm assuming the injury must occur while participating in the sport you are on scholarship for). It doesn't count against the 63 equivalents either I believe. As to when he hurt his knee, I'm not sure.

The only thing I was able to hear from my source was that he did apply for school at UND at around the same time he applied to UofM.

Not sure about that. If it is as a walkon at both I would think he might be able to do that, although if he starts practicing with UND that could be something that changes it. Also, same thread on gopherhole, someone said they had a source saying Shanks is going to UND, as a walk-on (I would assume if that is the case it would be on scholarship next year).

I will tell you that when Shanks was going to transfer, I was told he was 75% sure he was going to UND - mainly because of his friendship and wanting to play with Hooker. Then the Gophers came calling and it was hard for him to turn down a possibility to play in the Big Ten - although I'm told he was completely torn between UND and UofM. I don't believe he had any interest in NDSU - it was UND or U of M.
