yeah, last nights game at the ralph was kind of dissapointing too. should have been louder, and should have buried a few more of the chances. the rouser might be the most annoying goal celebration in history

i have dish, no fssn, so stuck listening to the sioux, and watching the dogs and the goofs on mute... the dogs are a MUCH better team than the goofs tonight.

all minors for roughing so far... but it won't end that way.

a few things i noticed about last night... .the sioux played very well for most the game (other than ot), but could not capitalize on the scoring opportunities .finley was outstanding, just continues to improve .his d partner, lapoint, still plays like a freshman. he lacks confidence with the puck, and is tenative to make decisions. .at this point and time, marto is heads above lapoint, and should be the 6th man if chay comes back .lots of missed nets, maybe just one of those nights??? .wcha officiating at its finest, but it went both ways. anderson swallowed the whistle from the get go and two reviewed no-goals (didn't get to see the replays, but the net never came off the moorings on our goal, and i don't think lasch's stick got above his waist), something needs to be done about this very soon, but that is just us sioux fans complaining .third and fourth line played as good as they have all year, great sign for the postseason .jpl is the man, enough said, although he was more worried about his stick than the puck on scsu's goal .lasch and roe are tiny, but for some reason felt the need to find finley after every whistle , best quote of the year in the postgame, hennesy asks joe what was up with him and lasch as they seemed to have an affinity for one another. joe laughs and says "yeah, i wish it was earlier in the season so i could 'teach' him to keep his stick down" classic!!! finish strong tonight and keep the unbeaten streak going through denver!!! go sioux!!!

jpl looks to be coming in a distant second. i don't think there is any way porter does not win the hobey, but would be cool to see jpl make the hattrick, nice reward for a solid year to go along with #8. nice to see tj's efforts not going unnoticed. i was never a cstv.com fan, but the one thing they did a nice job of was the hobey board, which they no longer do now. rumor has it cstv.com will no longer exist after march madness, but no real loss for college hockey there. http://insidecollegehockey.com/7Archives/H...racker_0625.htm

i believe crosby as a 15 year old set the mark, not sure if it was parise's record he broke.

once the final 16 are set for the ncaa, it doesnt matter who you play, you have to be playing your best hockey to advance. whether we are a 1 or 2 seed, we will have to play two good teams to get to the frozen four, and then two more top teams to get #8. like az stated, we will need good goaltending (go jpl) and just play our game. i like the way this team looks right now! go sioux!!!

bochenski is one of my favorite all time sioux players. the guy can flat out score. remember the days when if we needed a goal, we just put bochenski's line out, and they would score? we haven't had that since he left. i don't know anything about him off the ice, so i hope it is not an attitude or work ethic issue. i think that selane coming back ended his time in anaheim, not sure about his previous stints. hope this one works out for him, go bo!

he is the best player in college hockey... period and he will not win the hobey or be in the hat trick... period even without the off ice "distractions" if we may, he would probably still not be in the top three because he plays in the wcha, where the officials allow every other team to mug and tackle him all game long, and yet he still manages to be heads above the rest, but it does affect his numbers. tj is not about his numbers, he is about his team, but it is crazy that a talent like him doesn't have twice the numbers he does. we are very lucky to have seen tj in a sioux uniform for three seasons, he could be doing the nhl grind just like jt is, but chose to come back one more year for his team and his university. i completely agree that if the hobey was just about who is the best college hockey player, not who has the best numbers and avoided any public scrutiny, then it would be his hands down, but it will not happen.

i didn't realize a cheap shot could cause cramps could be he was playing all but a few minutes of each period.
