First off, I think the Sioux have performed very well in the first half of the season. I have thoroughly enjoyed the season so far and I would like to congratulate the team on a fine season. I must admit I was not sure about the selection for the new coach. But, I have been very impressed so far. I believe the coach is a fine game day coach who has done a very good job the last two weeks. I have noted that not much was made by the missed extra point early in the 4th Q. As it turns out it was one of the deciding factors in this game. I know that this is nothing more than "ifs and buts

Coaches need to have a specific play or two ready to go... no need to burn a timeout. Darnit - missed conversion! But, the Sioux are making a game of it Need a 3 and out..

come on offense - you have to do more than 3 and out.. plus giving them the short field - we need a turnover.

The Sioux offense looks good righ now.. impressed will all the freshman playing right now at the skill positions..

I remember reading that UND's 2009 schedule was almost complete, anyone have any inside information on what the schedule looks like?

The only thing daunting or dangerous about the Dakota Dome was Dessler running wide open across the middle of the field for TDs last year. I believe that would be 3 TDs.

too funny, do not care about the poster - never did .. I threw that away.. it was the decision making process to hand them out anyway - just a bit of disrespect by the WCHA and Xcel staff - yes, the staff that knew what they were handing out laughing as they did - classy.. Not sure what Holy Cross has to do with this - all U of M had to do was win the game!!

CORRECTION, it is called the Tombstone WCHZ Final Five Tournament - since I had the poster HANDED to me will a smile and a laugh... I have never called it by the old name. The Xcel and WCHA knew when they handed the posters out - what was on them!! - A unprofessional acts by the athletic conference and hosting venue. How they still get to host this evemt is beyond me - well, I know why $$$$$$$...

Get over yourself and SDSU - they won the first conference championship in years!! You still have not won any type of football playoff game. In fact, the only playoff game in the history of the school you had a grand total of minus yardage. As for SDSU academics, they are fine.. but nothing over the top. I looked at both SDSU and SDSM&T engineering programs. I went west to SDSM&T because they had more of a focus on undergraduate programs. Again, I believe most residents are very proud of SDSU, but not drinking all of your Kool Aid. Best of luck trying to win your first playoff game!!!
