How good is UND? Much improved. A top ten team - that would be a stretch but that is only because I don't know the other teams talent level. Our starting QB has been good but hit and miss. Our depth at QB is very suspect. Our special teams are suspect. Our defense is awesome but we are capable of giving up 40-50 points in a game. We are good and Bubba has done a great job. I don't know but it seams like we are almost there but not quite yet. Love our team and love what has happened this year. Win the national championship - doubtful. Give somebody a scare - certainly.

UND wins by 10. Let's say 20-10. Our defense dominates and holds NC to less than 250 total yards. We get two interceptions with one pick 6. Bartels plays well. Our offense features Brady and Santiago in at the same time for multiple plays. Short screens and slants to Santiago. Santiago runs two jet sweeps. A total of 13 punts in the game.

You are absolutely correct. We could (have) listed multiple way we should have won. The deal with Studs is that he was playing so well at the end of last year. I guess I just expected that to continue. The bar has been raised for him because he set it higher last year. The open pass misses I am talking about are the ones that the QB is not being rushed and the receiver is wide open. Miss one or two a game, not the many we did. Yes, receivers need to catch but try not to put the receiver in a vulnerable position. We found about five ways to lose that game. This one hurt and will haunt us no matter how well we play going forward. We need to find ways to win.

Numerous wide open receivers and numerous wild passes by UND. Big step backward with not having our QB make normal - easy looking passes - especially the first half. Heck, MSUM has QBs who can connect with open receivers. Terribly disappointed with that aspect of this game. The only way we lose the game the game in the 4th quarter is by a turnover. The D was in complete control. We were outcoached by the blocked punt. We NEED to get the punt off and we probably win.

My ignorance - Is this normal that there hasn't been a verbal in a while?

DB has done a lot of good for NDSU and by dong so has done a lot of good for the state of ND.I wonder if all the lying and spinning is just the norm of what goes on at that level. Nobody seemed surprised that he knew much more sooner than he admitted. Is that just normal?? I am afraid that it is. The problem DB has is he was so stupid to put too much down in writing. He got caught lying! How can we now believe what he says? What else has he done behind the scenes that now come into question? He screwed up big time this time. His die hard su supporters will still support. ANYTHING that puts su in bad light will be blamed on something or someone else. It is Port's fault. Somehow, it appears it is UND's fault. I will now go read the latest in CNN, MSNBC and Fox News to get the truth on what is going on. LOL

I sure wish we had more posts in this thread talking about new commits instead of the Moo stuff. Super pumped for this season. Keep it going Bubba and company with getting bigger and stronger recruits. We have a better product that UND is selling and promoting. Exciting!!

We have taken 28 shots and have 23 turnovers. Down 11 late in 3rd qtr

Down 31-26 half Weber state 14 turnovers so far. Hard to win with that type of stat. Just doesn't seem to improve.

Brewster was at the Shanley - West Fargo girls game last night. I don't know who he was looking at but 6'3" Shanley junior post Emily Dietz had a great game and is looking better and better. There were times that there were 7 players 6 ft or taller on the court at the same time in this game.

Let's see if Jack state can avoid any major injuries the 2nd half with the game in hand.

Lost by three We had a chance to tie but didn't get a shot up. Played much better in 2nd half. More intensity.

Down 11 at half. We have 16 turnovers. I would classify most of our tos to be unforced. We just make bad decisions. Still have a chance but very disappointed so far with our play.

Refs are calling all sorts of handchecking fouls. SD looks like they have better talent. Still 13 pt game

Down 23-12 to USD end of first. SD shooting about 75%. We have 7 or turnovers. Seem like a yearly weakness we have.
