I wanted to say thanks to all that post here. I look forward to your comments and insights more than once a day. I am ready for UND football to start.

I just took a look at the 18-19 roster. Fifteen players listed: 6 Seniors (Morton, Dailey sisters, Dooley, Strand and Klabo), 1 Jr (5-7 Jarnot ), 3 So (Reinke, 6-5 Leet, 6-2 Leet), and 5 Freshmen. My first thought is that we didn't seem to make many improvements. Jarnot is new and we lost Franklin, Moton, Burroughs, Sawatzke and Freije. Besides Klabo, the other seniors are OK but inconsistent. Only one Dailey played. Reinke plays hard but doesn't seem like a big scorer. The other two sophomore bigs played Ok at times. I don't know much about what to expect out of Jarnot. Hopefully, there are a couple freshmen who will contribute. I suspect that last year the team had internal issues - maybe this team can avoid some of that. Overall, I am disappointed to say that I expect the upper limit to be maybe a 500 season.

geaux_sioux is concerned about the RT spot means that I am concerned about the RT spot. How can we still be in this position of not having pieces in place?

What are the expectations for Harris? Is he expected to be 100% of pre-injury?

I lost track in the count of the commits. More than I thought we had available. Be happy Fighting Hawk brothers and sisters!

We must be running out of scholarships to give. I thought we had about 13-14 available??

I don't know enough about our players to contribute to this question. I could recognize only a handful if I saw them on the street. What I can say, though, is that we will need more than five players to have a breakout year to be successful.

Yes - much easier now. Don't know how anyone would get there from the spelling of the name.

What are our needs for this class? Other than every position? Btw: Haley is at least 6 ft 2 in instead of the announced 6 ft

How many scholarships do we have to give for this class?

Buchholz is a fine young man from a good family. UND is excited to get him. He runs about a 4.5 -4.7 with a long wingspan for his height.

Looks like maybe two inches taller than billy?

Pretty frustrating that we have a lost/rebuilding season before we even start. How are fans supposed to get excited when we don't have a chance going in. We don't reload - we hope for one good year out of four.

The Cavs J.R. Smith’s knuckle head move with five seconds left reminded me of UND football - sorry to say.

I don’t like the gloom and doom. I want to win like everyone else. Winning is more fun. Gosh, if bubba isn’t smart enough or is too stubborn to make changes then he isn’t the guy we need. I can’t imagine bubba isn’t smart enough. Or, bubba has been right all along and we can have success by staying the course - same coaches but better players - or same players but somehow being able to execute better . by the way, I am a gloom and doom kind of guy. I just don’t like being like that!

I wonder what the players consider a successful season to be. I hate to think of 2018 as a rebuilding season. Everyone has new players.

Countdown continues. 98 days to the opener. I say that our defense will be significantly better than last year the defense will be fun to watch again!!

I totally agree I too was there in the late 70s and early 80s. The atmosphere was consistently more electric than the current Ralph that all said, I am old and my stories get a little better as the years go by

After last year I am leery of every team on our schedule.

If things play out like this year at least we would be playing in Fargo (would be great if we earned the home field)come conference tournament time. A chance for local folks to watch a tournament game
