Do just the top six teams make the year end Summit tournament? It would be a shame if we didn't make it our first year. Boy, at times we look Ok and almost good - and then oh my. The Omaha game reminded me of how I want to remember UND men's basketball. Too bad we didn't win but there was also a lot of good solid basketball played by the good guys.

We need die hard (if you want to call them "real fans" - fine) and casual fans - both. People complain about spectators (fans) leaving early in every sport multiple times a year. You tell me what type of fan I am - I go to one or two home games a year and one or two away series. I am one of those that buy unused season ticket holder tickets. I watch many parts of games on TV. Maybe some of you don''t even consider me a fan. I went to UND and I am interested in almost all of the sports. I haven't been to a women's hockey game in a while but that's about it.

I think we expected about a 500 team this year. With that in mind, I can’t be disappointed - though that means I have accepted that we aren’t an every year contender. we have other teams doing worse. Sorry to say.

Well, after all that has happened to our UND teams in 2018-2019, here’s hoping for a big turn around with our football team next year. Please give us something to look forward to along with hopefully enjoying the ride next season.

Been a down year - no doubt. I hope we don’t have to get used to it.

Generally I think a team, all players and coaches, care and give their best efforts each day and game. Sometimes there is a little more urgency but I would like to believe that everyone is consistently working hard to get better and be successful. this being my mindset, I am led to believe that UND is lacking in evaluating talent and there has been a noticeable decline in the last few years. But not only in our evaluation of players but by nhl scouts, based on the number of draftees we have and our limited success losing to teams with few nhl draftees. In my opinion, coaching competence is also a little suspect at this point
