WHINING? Odd, considering we pretty much knew for the last few weeks the chances of us NOT going to GF was pretty low...and I'd RATHER have the extra rest, to further beat up on the team that comes out of the evil "M" and UND game... W

we'll have a crew to stop and have some fun then. Just to clarify (never been to GF), is the Memorial lot the same as the old Ralph? Warning tho, there WILL be a Gopher flag on a flag pole (as well the Stars and Stripes)! W

hmmmm, that sounds like a challenge...I think we'd be up for that! Unless your math is tha tbad! But we did start tailgating for the Final Five at 9 AM and went till 7 PM..... W

we normally tailgate for about 4 hours or so pre-game.... W

I am pretty sure that ther ea re a few Gopher fans that would enjoy a good tailgate and a few rounds of BeerDarts (of course assuming we play Saturday, which we should be doing, as well as UND). Noting better than tasty animal parts, BeerDarts, cheap beer and a bottle being passed around for a pregame.... What UND fans are up to the challenge? 37 degrees sounds downright tropical, considering we tailgated all winter for Gopher games....that Denver series, the beer would freeze in 1 minute...but I imagine you guys know what cold is... W

if we have a place to tailgate YES! nope the 328 will be sitting in the garage till there are a few good rain showers to clear the salt off the roads as well as the sweepers to get the sand/gravel up.... W

Well, we got our tickets and will be heading up to watch what I think will be the winner of the FF06 play next weekend. I predict the winner of the UND/Gopher game will take it all. So do your job and take care of the evil "M" and we'll see you at the Saturday night game! So you guys have any good places we could get a good WCHA tailgate going? W

I know the "diver down" flag that went to the Mavs/BADger games and was held by a Gopher fan will be making its appearance at the game.... W

actually, we moved our seats this year closer to the red line...so oddly, I actually don't know where we are this year....no idea where GE sits...but I know MM sits across the arena! W

since when tho, has the NC$$ worried about the teams more than the money??!?!? Maybe I've been spoiled but the Gophs ended up with the more lucrative ($$$) spot at Mecca....which has alwasy been later in the day W

yah, no kidding, hard to buy tix when you don't know WHICH regional your team is going to be at...heck the Gophs could end up in ALBANY! As for time slots I think that regardless of WHICH arena is being played at there is a tendancy to play the "home" team in the evening game slot to generate more revenue.... W

Nope that goes to the Gophers....no bi-oching this year, the Gophs are the #1 seed! Deal with it! W

I don't like checking from behind from anybody, Goli's penalty was complete bunk, that said, what bothers me is a coaches response like DU's. Teaching these kids to "take" a penalty like that and then crowing about it is just plain dangerous. These refs need to learn what REALLY constitues checking from behind. They seem to have some version that doesn't fit the penatly sometimes.... W

considering the DU coaches comments about how he was happy about the draw of 2 majors from the Gophs (neither which looked to be deserving) I'd lay dollars to donuts he is teaching his boys to "take" hits to even up team odds....good luck to you...DU was playing pretty cheap at the end Saturday night W

actually, the whislte was CLEARLY blown before the puck went in, maybe even up to a full second. I was all nervous and let down when I heard the whistle and then Albers suddenly sttarts signaling a goal. My seat was on the glass right by the Gopher bench/tunnel so I had a excellent view of the whole procedings. Sadly, Lucia had to point out you can't review a goal that occured after a whislte was blown, because as soon as he got the linesman to point that out to Albers, Albers got back on the ice fast and resumed play. ug, what a trip, only one person w/ alcohol poisoning, no one went to jail and we pulled three points out of tech. GOD I love that roadtrip.....peopel are nice as can be, the beer is cheap and good and you can walk to about anywhere post game and not worry about driving... Fri night Briggs played like poop, and Saturday Nolan played like a rock star....We need Irmen back WPoS
