In general, it was a good crowd out at Ohio, but just like your Gopher fan story there are UND fan stories too...like the ones who tried to ruin the Gopher pep fest...just chalk it up to every team has some "bad" fans...MOST UND fans I ran into were good eggs, heck one even returned my CC after I left it at the INCH party Friday night! W/O any extra charges! WPoS

hey goon, shouldn't you be going to play some golf! BTW, I was told (I was in OH and computerless at the time) that there was some pretty classy behavior over on the GPL board from some Sioux fans....all this warmth...what is happening...pretty soon we'll have cats and dogs sleeping together! WPoS

I just wanna say, as a semi-rational fan a few things: 1. sorry for any Siuox fans that wanted to play BD out there, we never found a place to play so I never bothered to call you about playing. 2. UND played the better game on thursday and deserved the win. 3. The FF is ALWAYS fun and I am still tired and beat. 4. Our group was still there Saturday and was as loud as possible on Thursday, but for some stupid reason the rest of our section liked their hands.... 5. The two goals we got DID breathe some hope for me for about 3 minutes till we deflated again. 6. I look forward to NEXT year when it could be a UND/Gopher FF and/or champ game unless the NC$$ HE bias has something to say... WPoS

Yep, I'll be there with BeerDarts mat in tow. Question will be WHERE we can play. Open bottle and all (seeing as we have no "in" with the local enforcment). AND the weather is supposed to be rainy all weekend...I've got MinnesotaNorthStar's cell and will inform him of where and when for the UND fans that may want to show... WPoS

HUH, that's odd, my bud was threatened 4 times about being kicked out for having a flag (he had it in his sweatshirt pocket and wasn't even waving it!), and they were booting peeps w/ posters.....I will have to get a nice print out of that for the security detail at the arena. That and we'll have to send a copy to the Mecca security so the old folks have something to do besides ruin the fun and dream about when they had real teeth! WPoS

You may want to watch out, they were confiscating/kicking out fans of ALL schools (yes, including MN fans) at Mecca for signs/banners/noisemakers this last weekend, due to some NCAA rule... WPoS

I'd agree with you, I think last year there was a region that DIDN'T have a WCHA team in it...and I'd BET they will do that from now on....which of course is worse than any whinning one hears about "home" ice or sheet size... WPoS

I have an idea for a "nuetral" rink for WCHA play....the NCC! We all know JBSU will never really be there..altho it IS small.... WPoS

As it should be...we are the elite league, about time everyone learns that! WPoS

WOW! This is gonna be one great FF! ALL WCHA! HA! Screw you HE! What do you think Euruzioni(sp) is trying to spin off this? Anyway, no trash talking form me here. Good teams make it to the FF regardless of who they play, where they play or what their record is. I would love to see the Gophs beat UND there, but I will wait and see which team wins. All the opinions on the message boards in the world will NOT change the outcome of the game. I WILL say this tho, from what I heard from a GOPHER fan, JPar off the ice is ONE CLASS ACT! Drop the puck! WPoS

I too must wish your guys good will. Altho it makes my skin crawl a little, you are the lesser of the two evils playing in that game. Man, I feel dirty now.... WPoS

I'd say a blow out, but you never know....I can think of a "for sure" game a few years back at Mecca that suprised the heck out of everyone... In one and done, odd things can happen! WPoS
