Sadly, be careful what you say, last year a lot of people were counting UND down and out, but they made steam at the end of the season and made it to the FF...Never count a good WCHA program out of it.... like it has been said, bad fans can be found anywhere, in Columbus last year my friend had to pull me away from UND fans that were getting in my face after our loss/your win....they are everywhere, and all of us have examples of good and bad....time to move on and look for post season match ups... Actually, that IS my group, and actually I was telling that one person specifically to be quiet and clean up his act. He was embarassing me....yelling at kids, and trying to pick fights is NOT my bag.... Actually MM, if you think of my handle, I DO like the penalty cheer and DO participate in it lustily....but I DO try to refrain from stuff I would have said 5-10 years ago.....but I will ALWAYS do the "traditional" (see the "cheers" section on GPL if you are at ALL interested in the "tradional" cheers/chants) cheers for ANY team we play against. And yes, If I yell "Sioux Suck" it is the team not the native peoples I am saying sucks...my guide, I'll yell it if I hear it on Clear Channel radio stations or on FOX TV stations.. As for our security, you need your AARP card to be a member....they can't move that fast!

Because sprig, I'm calling a spade a spade, I saw MANY UND fans bi-oching about the major calls, your fans are no different than others, I have no desire to see ANY player hurt, or actually cause issues here, but like I said a spade is a spade....I'm NOT saying you are condoning the actions, I look towards the coaches (on all teams) to get on players that do that crap. Did you not also notice the praise I gave your squad? I guess I can only do wrong in your eyes....which about all I EVER get from you....my character is fine, just ask NDH, I actually have met him and (SHOCK) talked to him.....but you like to only get on my case....that is YOUR character. I'm fine with the loss, as I said earlier, UND wanted it more and your tender played better, what do you want me to do? WPoS

heard about this last night, what a bunch of crap....they also banned our band from a few cheers/chants last night, because they contain the word "suck" WOW! What do these old people think a COLLEGE game is supposed to be like? MY GOD, let the students have SOME fun before they get old and crotchety! They want to make all thee arenas sterile and boring so we can protect our kids form bad words/behaviour....news flash, watch FOX sometime and you'll see/hear worse on TV right there....what will UW do to their students/fans to get them to "behave", remove their vocal cords (or well maybe a lobotomy would help, lord knows it MIGHT improve their intelligence)? as stated, every team has their good, and BAD fans. My friends and I ALWAYS stay till after our band is done, I've NEVER left a game early....as for tossing stuff on the ice, not a fan, only things that belong on the ice are the players, ref, pucks and hats after a hattie....so you tossing dead animals is just as classless. Met some GOOD UND fans this weekend, met some BAD ones....at least at Mecca, while some leave early, we don't have a chant that uses the F bomb as you do....THAT is classless.... My personal fav cheer of the weekend "we have trees!" WPoS

not going to plow thru all the posts this AM. Few thoughts from a semi-tolerated (at least till now) Gopher fan. Lammy deserved the player of the game....wow, he played well, and had some great luck as well. UND wanted the win more it seems, you did a good job shutting down our PP, congrats on that. I told my friends it was going to be a one goal game, (I was right except for the ENG) Met a few more SS.com people, pretty good eggs. I'll take 3 out of four for the year. I am sure we'll meet again post season. At least one of your goals helped my fantasy team. now comes the stuff that will get me dark looks from you guys: For as much as you want to remember Bina and his injury, your team has a large tendancy to hit from behind near the boards...see 2 majors for that this weekend alone and one hit near the boards on Irmen. As for Irmen's jersey tug at the Ralph, you guys got even with Lammy's hitting of the glass by one of our student sections after the win, in the same class if you ask me, not that I think either are that big of a deal, but I heard plenty about it last night.
