Jim... Any of you folks that run these boards do a lot of hard work. I just think the reality is that "smack" is always here.... Whether in a designated forum or not. If it is contained somewhat then it is easier to ignore it and not read it. But... I understand trying to keep it off completely. I am just not sure it is possible. And... The smack certainly seems to be coming from both sides.

I know you guys like to pretend that no smack is allowed on this board, but a smack forum would clean a lot of this crap up and limit it to one place.

Gene Taylor has always had a deal for games in Fargo on the table. This is nothing new. Faison finally realized that to get a game against the Bison, it would have to be in Fargo.

NDSU has all the trump cards right now.and the vast majority of the Bison fan base is totally ambivalent about a game. If the Bison fans cared, it would happen. NDSU needs home games and UND absolutely does not need to be playing the Bison in Fargo repeatedly. So, there is not going to be a game for a long while. Enough on this tired topic.

I am sure if UND was in the playoffs and needed an indoor pratice venue to prepare for the title game, the Fargodome would give them a very reasonable deal if the time was open.

I think this is a very solid hire. I would expect much improvement on defense next season. He is a leader.

I am not on the Vigen bandwagon. I like CK, and I think he will get it and accept. It will be more money than he can make in WYO and if he keeps winning, a good place from which to move up. If we can't get CK, then Gene better have Scotty Hazelton on speed dial.

No, I think they are scrambling trying to hold Klieman......which will be tough I think. I would think Hazelton has to be tied with Klieman for the #1 shot at it. At least that is what this rube thinks....

Taylor is very good at calming the masses. Look at the how the Bisonville meltdown mellowed out after Taylor made his statement on Sunday. Think what you want about GT, but he is a calm and deliberate leader that inspires confidence and looks out for NDSU.
